I wanted to put together an easy to follow CVS scenario for beginners, I’d love to hear if this was helpful to you and how your trip went! I also added a more advanced scenario below. Next week we’ll pick up from the ECB’s that you earned on the last transaction! You can see the CVS weekly deals HERE.
You can go HERE and read my CVS 101 if you are new and have some questions.
***Beginners CVS scenario you will spend $9.91+ tax and save $22.86! Get $10 ECB’s for next weeks scenario + the $5 MIR (1/29/12 RP)***
There are currently no items in this list.
***Advanced CVS Scenario, Spend $14.10+ tax, save $46.64! Get $13 ECB’s for next week + up to $10 MIR (if more than 1 per household) + $10 MIR for Pfizer 1/29/12 RP***

Can you explain “if more than one per household.” Not sure what this means. Thanks

Most of the MIR (mail in rebates) only allow one (1) per household. So if it is a limit of 1 rebate per household you will not be able to submit for the 2nd Pfizer MIR. HTH !!

thanks for breaking down the lists! i imagine for the advanced list if we already have ecbs we’re reducing the oop cost!
I’m really upset to see those tear pad coupons being sold for so much on ebay, i occasionally buy insert coupons there since i only have 2 papers when it’s something i really need, like Curel for my daughters excema, but i’m so upset people are selling a few of these for like $5! that’s where all the great tear pads go, to these thieves! its not true that they are just charging for their time to clip and ship them because they abuse these tear pads and high value coupons. if you can sell 10 or 20 at a time, you must have drove around and took entire tear pads off store shelves!

Just saw that the Colgate-Palmolive $5 MIR is only valid for receipts from 1/30/12 onwards – meaning we can only get these items on Monday! Just FYI (:

This rebate was not available in my paper. Did anyone find the rebate form online? If not, does anyone have any extras they would be willing to spare?
Thanks for all the great tips!

This was so helpful! Thank you! Is there a method you use to figure out how many transactions to do etc. (E.g. do you purchase all your ecb items first and in a separate transaction or something?) I am always dumbfounded when I check out with a cart full of stuff as to what to buy in what order.
Melissa says
Scenarios are meant to spend the least amount possible out of pocket in the store. So you want to basically spend your money once & then start using the ECB’s in place of cash. Most people like to build up to the more expensive items through muti transactions. If you’re not sure – try small to big price. Often one transaction will only have 1 item in it! HTH

I’m in houston and didn’t find either of the mail in rebates in the 1/29 RP. Is that where they both are? Is there anywhere else to get them? Thanks!
