This is reader Tonya’s trip to CVS. I seriously need to do the same trip as we are almost out of kids shampoo!
Here’s my trip to CVS…
Bought 9 bottles of Suave kids shampoo @ 2/$3 = $13.50
Used 3 B2G1 Free coupons from 5/20 Red Plum (took of $3 each? Maybe because this is the max value of coupon?)
Used $5 ECB from previous shopping trip
Total was -$.50
Because I had a $5 ECB and would have “lost” $.50 I bought a 20oz Coke $1.67 or forfeit the $.50 on ECB (if I would have chosen something cheaper, I could have paid $0!)
Paid $1.27, got back $4 ECB!
See all the CVS weekly deals and CVS scenarios and plan YOUR trip!

That wouldn’t typically happen right? She just got lucky? Wouldn’t it normally just be $1.50 off for each coupon(total $$4.50 off). Knowing my luck I’d just get that. 🙂

I went last night to 2 different CVS and both places took $3 off each coupon – i basically got each bottle for $0.50 it is worth a try

This goes against the coupon limitation wording. All Unilever (which is the manufature for Suave) coupons are limit 2 per shopping trip. If this person purchased all 9 in one transaction then she clearly violated the terms of the coupons, and CVS will not be reimbursed for the 3rd coupon. Things like this will give couponers that do the deals the right way (according to the limitation wording on the coupons) a bad name.
Tiffany, I would remove this post if I were you!!! Bad practice.

Bad practice!!!! All coupons released by Unilever (Suave manufacture) are limit 2 of the same identical coupons in the same transaction. This person clearly violated the terms of the coupons. CVS will not be reimbursed for the 3rd coupon which means that they will have to eat the loss of product. Small things like this give those of us that do it the right way a bad rep!!!
Tiffany, this is bad practice. If I were you I would delete this post ASAP.!!!!

Thank you so much for pointing that out. This is a great reminder to always read coupons carefully and check limits and restrictions. Limit of 2 coupons is rather unusual so I can understand the mistake. It’s still a great deal with only 2 coupons! Just one less free bottle of shampoo!
