OK i was hoping to see a post like this! Why you ask??? well my CVS or at least the cashier there say you can not use a coupon on a item thats on clearance! Which makes no sense to me why ,so i constantly miss out on a lot of deals ,is it stated in the coupon policy or so ???thanks
Ok Sometimes you can not, if it has a tag like that you can. When they mark them down in the back at my store and cross out the barcode then you can not.
i tried my luck once again and went to cvs to see if this time i will be able to use coupons on “with tag items ” and it worked:))
also a FYI if you but $ 10 worth of garnier fructis you get $3ECB:) so i bought 9 paid $.53+ tax used $1 ECB green leaf and got $3ECB
also i found some pampers diapers on cleareance for $2.74 used the $2/1 P&G august , paid $.74 and got $3ECB great moneymaker day for me:)
My CVS said the same thing when I tried to do this deal. I called CVS corp and they said there is no reason that the coupons shouldn’t be accepted on clearance items.
I was at the CVS on 1314 in Porter last night and they were getting a TON of clearance tags ready the manager said for me to come in today on my way home from work and she would have them all out for me lol =] I can’t wait to see if this is one of the deals!!! I <3 CVS
Had to go to CVS to pick up my free shower gel from FB Minute Clinic page. While I was there I noticed the gels were on sale for $1.14. There weren’t any but I went to another store. I bought 4 Brilliante Shine Gel @ $1.14 and 4 Survivor gels on sale for $1.44. I paid $2.50 (including 6% tax and also got back $3 ECB from the spend $10 get $3 ECB back. Moneymaker for me! Thanks for the heads up. I price checked some since they weren’t marked down on the tag.
