If you are new to CVS, you can read my CVS 101 HERE to help you get started. I also have a little video of how to make a transaction HERE if that would help.
CVS is my favorite place to shop! They have such good deals each week. Like many people before I started couponing I would have never bought anything in a CVS, they were too expensive! Read over my CVS 101 to get started.
** At the front of your store by the cash register they have a CVS Reinventing Beauty book that you can buy for $.99. It is worth it as there are TONS of coupons in it!

The video link for “how to make a transaction” doesn’t work.

I couldn’t access the video from this site, but I found it on YouTube. You shop at the same CVS as me and the cashier in your video is the one I always try to catch. I was in the store the other day and said “I didn’t know you were a local celebrity” and she smiled knowingly. She said to tell you Hello! Thanks for all you do on this site. I’m new to all of this and your site and knowledge of this has been a blessing.

Hi Tiffany..
I wanted to ask if you could further explain the fine red print on some coupons?? I’m confused as to how I am able to use them. Thanx

Tiffany,
I have a question for you and any of the other ladies that follow your awesome blog! I have only been couponing for the last 2 months, so I’m still new… I have been doing my shopping at CVS/Wags on Sunday mornings around 8am, but by the time I get to my Katy, TX stores…everything is GONE! A couple Sundays ago, I actually went to 3 different stores and they were empty! What time does everyone else hit the stores? Do I have to hit them at 12:30am on Sunday morning just to get the deals??? I’m willing, just hate missing some of these free or moneymaker deals 🙁
Thanks!
Jessica

this has happened to all of us, but what I do is checking my wags on Saturday to see the stock they have sometimes they are out even before the sale start so if that is the case I don’t bother going the next day and try to roll my RR that day, but if they have stock then is the first store I go to, then I hit CVS since they have limits is easier to find stuff, but keep in mind that a lot of the deals require at least to buy 2 items so imagine if they only have 6 in stock it only takes 3 customers taking the minimum to clear the shelve so I just plan ahead based on the stock I see the day before, some CVS start their cycle on Saturday but just a few and the time is never certain and there is nothing you can do about and they won’t print the ECB if the sale is not up in their system so you could hit CVS at 7am and Wag at 8am and you should be ok. (hopefully)

I’m wondering if the Oral-B manual toothbrush B1G1 coupon can be combined with a $ off coupon. I’ve never attempted this, and I’ve recently read if the B1G1 coupon UPC ends in 14 (this one does) it can’t be combined with another coupon.
Anyone have experience with this at CVS in the Houston area?
Thanks for all your help, Tiffany! Read your blog daily. 🙂

Yes it can, I called CVS to ask them about their coupon policy and had an AMAZING man named Richard help me. Now I ask for him everytime. You can use one MFG per item purchased even if it’s bogo. Also if they have a bogo sale on a item and you have a coupon for it, you get both items for free well you have to pay sales tax on them but that’s it! Don’t hesitate to call CVS customer service and if you are having a difficult time with that person ask for Richard!

Hi Tiffany,
There seems to be so many deals this week at CVS that I am feeling a bit overwhelmed as to where to start. I try to write out a shopping scenario each week for CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens, but I am new to this and one of these scenarios takes me hours to write. Any advice that you can give to help?
Thank you
Tiffany says
Let me write one up!

Thank you :0 Thank you 🙂 and Thank you 🙂
P.S. Normally here in Pittsburgh our P&G Brandsave comes in the mail the Tuesday prior to the national Sunday release. This week there wasn’t one in ther and the copy of the Sunday newspaper I purchased at 7-11 didn’t have one either 🙁

When it say (Limit 1) does this mean on the ecb or the actual product??

I am alittle bit flustered. I asked hubby to stop by my CVS on the way home so I could just go swip my card and talk to the pharmacist about are 5 or 6 Rx. OMGosh the Rx are sooo much money even with our insurance…but that is not why I am commenting. The “Reinventing Beauty book ” I FINALY found one and was going to buy two *like I buy 2 Sunday papers* I asked the cashier if they had anymore he said if we do they are by all the mags in the back *you know where the car, muscle, wedding and what have you mags are* I looked and nothing. I was going to just buy that one BUT good thing I checked out the expiration dates on the coupons inside of it *6/30/11*…pfttt I quickly put it down and walked sooo fast out of the store *learning to deal with my “anger” and “fustration”, one opportunity at a time…lol*. Now that I know they DO infact have these books I will *next time in store* ask to speak to someone who knows where they are kept and walk me to the place and show me so I can find them on my own next time they are available.
Again I vented didnt I, Sorry. 🙂

Valerie, I was able to use a $ off 1 & a BOGO for (2) Oral-B Cross Action TBs with no beeps or anything in Houston. But I don’t remember the order that they were in, and I’m not really sure if that even matters. Hope that helps.
Valerie says
Angie, Thank you for the feedback! I went ahead and tried it today too. I let the cashier know I wasn’t sure it was going to work (I see her every week), but it did. Yay!

What zip code did you use to get the Skittles coupon? I don’t see it.
Tiffany says
I think that one was just printing at CVS

does anyone know where I can find Cascade trial size packages? I want to be able to use my $1 off coupon and see if I can get them for free.
