The CVS clearance was not that great. The deals were much better at Walgreens and Walmart. Plus, on CVS clearance you usually can not use coupons with the sale as they mark through the bar code. Funny thing is that the Valentines balloons were not even marked down!
I about fainted when I saw the “normal” price of a box of cereal at CVS. It is $8.79, are you CRAZY?!! I don’t always spend much time in the food section of CVS, it is usually mostly toiletries and occasionally a deal on peanut butter. For some reason today I glanced at the cereal…

I did buy cereal last week at CVS I did the regular and chocolate Cheerios it was bogo and I had a coupon for $1 off 2 but it was the 3.99 size so 2.99 after coupon roughly $1.50 per box…..not bad ……I did purchase 1 bag of m & m’s on clearance for $.75 after coupon, and kisses $1 each after coupon….

CVS clearance. Are they passing that over the barcode? So you cannot use coupons on them? If that is the case it does not sound on the up and up. I really have a difficult time shopping in there unless its a simple sale. ? That does not sound legal. Stores. have had to randomly punch in codes to take coupons before.

Yes…I agree. I went into CVS to take advantage of the Kleenex special & couldn’t believe their prices. I have Walgreen’s closer to me & so it’s been a long time since I’ve been in a CVS. They are out of their minds on their prices sometimes!!!! Not to mention they don’t seem to have good customer service (in my area).
