What’s the difference between a rump ham and a shank ham? Is one better than the other? Any advice?

Butt cut has more meat cause it has less bone thus per. Pound higher there is nothing wrong with a shank it just have more bone thus lower price per pound. Depending on what you put on it weather the taste vary. Bone in should alway have a better taste it all about preference and how many you trying to feed.
