How to put a catalina deal together – Swanson Broth catalina at Safeway

Randalls/Safeway is offering a catalina deal on the Swanson broth. This is the catalina that I got the other day. I really love the way that they have been announcing this lately. Normally it is just a catalina letting you know you are getting a catalina, but now they have been adding a coupon along with it.

• Buy 3 or more and get $1.50

If you get a catalia at checkout, bring it home and look to see what coupons will match up with the catalina to make a better deal. Go HERE to the coupon database, type in “swanson broth” and see what coupons come up.

• $0.40/2 Swanson Broth or Stock Carton, exp. 10/27/12 (SS 09/30/12)

Now, at most stores the $1/2 is the better coupon, but at Randalls the printable $.40 will double to $.80 so I would use that one.

Buy 3 Swanson Broth $2.25
Use $.75 off coupon from catalina
Use $0.40/1 Swanson Flavor Boost printable ( doubles to $.80)
Use $0.40/1 Swanson Flavor Boost printable
Total: $4.80 ( or $1.60 each lower then Walmart )
Get back: $1.50 ( making them $1.11 each after catalina!)

This is a great stock up price on broth, especially with the holidays coming up! Also, you can “roll” this deal meaning you can go back and do this same deal again and use the $1.50 catalina to pay down the OOP cost and still get another catalina back!
