Reports are rolling in that binders are starting to get clearanced! Samantha reported that hers were marked down 50% at her Walmart!
If you are looking to get a binder, get one now. If you want to live on the edge, you can wait a few weeks and see if you can pick one up on clearance or marked down after school has started.
You can watch a video HERE of how I do my binder.
This is how I organize my binder:
These are the categories that I have in my binder.

Places to buy supplies. I would estimate it to cost about $40 to put together a good binder.
During the back to school sales try Target, Walmart, Walgreens and the Office Supply Stores.
I get mine at Walmart, they are about 35 for $5.98. They are located in the front of the store by the baseball and Pokemon cards. Target has a bigger pack for about $15 but they are always sold out. I have heard that people get them at the Dollar Store but I have looked for a year and have never seen them.
Again, usually Walmart. Just make sure you don’t use the paper pages, they will tear in no time. Get the plastic pages. I used a label maker to label mine.
If you would like FREE binder divider pages, you can go HERE and get some I made. The file is very big and will take a minute to download, but they are really cute!

I have already replace my Son’s binder from Walmart this year…2 weeks into school. We bought him the one with the strap…seemed like a good idea. Within 2 days the zipper on the front came off and the sides where it zips closed are already worn thru and frayed. Now I know most couponers are probaby easier on things than my 13 year old but this was a little ridiculous. I replaced it with a Mead 5 star…didn’t have all the bells and whistles since they are picked over but at least I’ll know it will hold up.

I went to Target this weekend and they had all their Fivestar zip up binders on clearance for $7.50 to $9.00, that with the $2.00 off fivestar binder coupons – I was able to purchase several and put them up!
