Walgreens has an unadvertised deal this week running at some stores. You can grab Viva paper towels for only $.46 a roll!  I am not sure if this deal is working in my area, if I find out I will let you know! Thanks The Thrifty Couple and Aimee on FB!

This is what to do:

  • Buy (2) 6 packs of Viva Paper Towels at $5.99 each (On Sale Through 3/31) = $11.98
  • Then use a combination of two $0.40/1 Viva paper Towels coupon in the 3/11 Smart Source  OR $0.50/1 Viva Paper Towels Coupon  – up to $1 off = $10.98
  • Stack with the $1/1 Viva Paper Towels 6 Rolls Walgreens Store Coupon (you can stack store coupons with 1 manufacturer coupon) from the Walgreens March Booklet (takes of $2) = $8.98 (this is what you will pay out of pocket)
  • Then receive a $4 Register Reward (Walgreens Cash) to use on your next transaction =final is $4.98 for 12 rolls or .42 each roll!

This week at Walgreen’s is just okay. I was hoping for more but if you really look there are a few good deals. If you’re just staring out at Walgreens there are a few rules to keep in mind so be sure to read my Walgreens 101 before heading out to the store.

I will be adding a “filler” item into the certain transactions because the RR is a manufacturer catalina coupon, you can not have more manufacturer coupons than you do products. This is where a “filler” will come in. This week I’ll be using Nice Gelatin 3oz – $0.25 each, with Easter just around the corner it should come in handy. If you see a better deal in-store go for it!

This week at Walgreens they have the Mars candy priced at 2/$1. Walgreens has included the Mars candy eggs on this deal that I told you about earlier today and the single pack Mars candy bunnies that you see below. These are both priced at $.97 to $1 at Walmart.

You should be able to price match these to the 2/$1 price at Walgreens, use the coupon that you got in today’s paper and get them FREE! OR just get them at Walgreens!
