FYI— At Redbox you cannot use the free codes on reserved movies.
At one of the blockbuster express in Conroe, TX the new releases are $2.99…I tried to rent Just Go with It last night with the codes and noticed that the new releases are more than a $1 and my coupon code didn’t work so I just went to the Redbox and got it for $1.

If you don’t mind signing up for text messages, you can go to this link: http://www.redbox.com/textclub and Redbox will send you a text on the first Monday of every month for a 1 night free rental good for that Monday. As someone already mentioned with RedBox, you can’t use the free promo codes to reserve online.
I think it works on most of the new releases, but maybe not the ones released this week or next. I tried to rent Gnomeo & Juliet last week and got the 2.99. I just tried the first promo code this afternoon again on Gnomeo, reserving it online and it took. Haven’t picked it up yet, but I am pretty sure it’s good. HTH!
I also think Redbox is working on being able to apply codes to online reservations. With these codes or not through Blockbuster, I will not be a customer. Like Becky said, just hit a Redbox for only a buck!
