Browsing Amazon this morning, this popped up as a suggestion. How cute would this be as an Easter Basket that will get use more than one day of the year (and not be shoved in a closet until next year??)??
There are so many possibilities for this Melissa & Doug Gardening Tote, but the very first thing that comes to mind is to fill it with gummy worms, gummy bugs, jelly beans you repackage as “jelly bean tree seeds” and similar things. Then your child has a great toy to help you outside all summer long!
What other ideas do you have for this bag? Or what other unique things do you do for Easter Baskets?

I always go to Jo-ann fabric store and get my kids a basket to use for easter. After they empty all their easter goodies out they have a basket to store toys or others small items in their rooms. I also always get them each a nice stuffed animal and hide it randomly in the house and wait till I hear a scream of delight when they find theirs!

I love the idea of hiding something!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE functional, multi-purpose items and so I love this. I fill baskets with silly puddy, mini play-do, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, stickers, crayons/coloring books, jump ropes, kites, homemade activity coupons (redeemable for hanging out at their place of choice)…and majority of these items found at dollar store. Btw, my kids are 16, 18 and they still love this stuff.

I thought it was really cute as well. My big girls would like it for their hair stuff.
