Over at Fairy Blog Mother and Moody Mommy they are having 15 days of giveaways. To celebrate 15 years of marriage between them. So they asked me to do day 2 which is china. I will be making a personalized platter like the one above to the winner of their giveaway. It is a really large square platter, much cuter than the picture… the colors are washed out. Darn.
I am going to admit that I forgot about this and my What a Dish blog is under construction. I am so embarrassed!  I rarely paint plates anymore so I have totally ignored it. Serves me right. 
Anyway, I would love it if one of my readers won that giveaway so head on over and enter.

This week doesn’t look as fabulous as the past few weeks. 
BUT…. I scored some major good deals yesterday on kids toys. Many were clearanced for 75% off. I picked up a bunch of Christmas presents. I will post a picture later in the day when I can pull them out without kids seeing 🙂

I am so excited and nervous at the same time to let you know that tomorrow, Monday the 3rd. at 11:00 am central time, I will be hosting my own 15 min. little talk radio show! I will be introducing my blog and give you the run down on this weeks deals. Next week you will have the opportunity to actually call in and ask questions on the air. I will give you that information and phone number later in the week.

Tomorrow I will post a direct link to the radio show if you want to tune in. I would enjoy some constructive criticism, but be nice I have never done this before!

I’d like to introduce my husband Paul, who is now taking questions….

I would like to thank my wife for allowing me to pontificate in her forum. I am sure she is just hoping that I get it out of my system before she and the kids have to hear it. CVS trip tonight… spent a little over $7.

I did 4 transactions. 

Benadryl is on sale for $5 each. Buy $10 worth and get $5 ECB. I used $1 off coupons from todays paper on these.
Softsoap is on sale $.99 cents, use $1.00 off printable from last week.
Electrasol is 2 for $9. Buy $20, get $10 ECB back. Used 5 $2.50 off coupons. 
Razors on sale for $8.99, get $3 ECb back. I used a $4 off coupon from todays paper. 
Gillette body wash was free with a razor purchase. Coupon in todays paper. 
First Aid kits are $1. I used $1 off coupons so these were all free. 
When you make your first purchase with your CVS card this month, at the bottom of your receipt will be a coupon for a free item. On my card I got CVS aspirin. On Paul’s card I got a toothbrush, free.

Walgreen’s trip Spent $8 total.

I did two transactions for this purchase. 

#1 
Bought 3 floss at 3 for $9. Used the $5 off 3 coupon that came out today, paid $4 and got back $3 in Register Rewards ( like the CVS ECB program)
#2
Bought Smart Rinse 2 for $8. Used a buy one get one free coupon from todays paper and a $1 off one coupon from todays paper also. My total was $3. I used my $3 RR from the first purchase to pay for it. 
Repeated this same deal again. I am not sure why the M&M’s are in there?!
But…. I hated to even post this deal because it had to be done tonight. Sorry, I am a total jerk!

I made them fish it out…

When that got old after 10 minutes of uncoordinated fun, I tried myself to catch the intruder. Hmmmm, harder than it looked.
I finally got him and let Emma show him off!

It was a crawfish, or mud bug, whatever you call them in your part of the country. Darn, too bad there was only one. A few more and we could have had dinner. “Them are good eatin’!”
