The little smokies and pillsbury snacks are so easy to make, I love to let the kids do these! We also let them make these when they have friends over as a fun thing to do! We call them “pigs in a blanket”.

You can make the EASY little smokies snacks, plus save a little money with 2 printable coupons! You can save $1/2 Little Smokies, and $.50/2 on the Crescent Rolls.

Hillshire Farms Little Smokies $2.28
Use $1/2 Little Smokies HERE

Pillsbury Crescent Rolls $1.47

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven according to directions on crescent roll package.
  2. Unroll but leave intact 2 triangles of crescent rolls.
  3. Pinch seam together and cut lengthwise into 5 strips and then cross-wise to make 10 strips.
  4. Roll each strip around one sausage and place in baking pan that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking oil.
  5. Sprinkle each pig with parmesan and garlic salt.
  6. Bake according to crescent roll package directions.

Readers Amber & Jeri found these on clearance at her store, the Danimals were only $.99. I find these on sale and clearance a lot.

The reason that I use a coupon binder is so that I have all my coupons with me all the time. Most of the really good deals I find are unexpected. The cool thing is that unless they have marked out the barcode you can use a coupon on clearance item. There are always coupons for these items and you could possibly get them free depending on the coupon amount!

This Christmas my children together as a group have “adopted” a few families for Christmas. They have gotten in a little over their heads, and have realized that there is much more to this than what they thought. I am grateful for their giving heart and am glad that they are learning a good lesson.
