LAST DAY!!! Amazon Prime is going up to $99 from the current $79. So go here to get it now at the lower price.
Prime is great for Free 2 day shipping on everything sold by Amazon, especially at Christmas when the deals are hot and you can’t always wait to get to $35 for free shipping or the price tends to change.
If you are like me and already have Amazon Prime, how can you keep your current price? Well, here is one way to save $20 this year. There are just a few steps that you can take:
1. Go HERE and purchase a Amazon Prime membership gift for YOURSELF.
2. Now use your personal email address to have it deliver the Amazon Prime gift on the day that your current year of Prime expires.
3. Make sure to go to your “manage Amazon Prime” section in your account and disable the “auto – renew” on your current account.
Currently this is the only way that I have found to make sure you keep the $79 price for one more year. If you need help, here are some simple steps to take:
On the front page of Amazon, click on “Your Prime” at the VERY bottom of that drop down click on “Manage Prime Membership” and your account will come up.
Ok now you can see mine below. I renewed in December. Yours will show when you renewed. Now click “End Membership” this will not cancel it right now, this will keep you from auto-renewing.
Now go HERE and purchase a Amazon Prime membership gift for YOURSELF and set the delivery date to right AFTER yours expires. So I would set mine for December 20th. I hope this helps!
Go HERE to get yours at the lower price now.

My membership is set to expire on March 28. Right now, the price of autorenew is stll $79.00. Yesterday, I read that as long as you autorenewed before April 17th you would still be charged $79. However, I can not find that anywhere on Amazon. Does anyone have any additional information about this? If it looks like my autorenew is going to go up at the last minute I will send a gift subscription to myself. Thanks for your help!

Where do you find the “auto-renew” in your account so that you can disable it? All I can find is “end subscription”.

Tiffany,
Do you get charged the $79 for the gift now, or on the new Delivery Date, i.e. Dec 20 in your case?
Thanks!
