**CLOSED**
When I was asked by Libman to review their new mop I was thrilled. I have new laminate floors, you can read why HERE, and so far I have not really found a good way to clean them.
The mop was just the right size for me, some are too small and feel really flimsy. I really liked the removable container that you can fill with your own cleaner. For my floors I just used hot water and a little bit of soap, I mean a really little bit. The cleaning pad is a microfiber pad that is removable so you can toss it into the wash. The mop maneuvers really well and I was able to clean my floor for the first time! It has a little trigger to spray the cleaner ahead of you and it sprayed the right amount. I was worried that it would spray too much on my floor and I would be drying ti up after me but that wasn’t the case. Overall I was very pleased with the mop and had I tried it at a friends house I probably would have bought one.
Libman has offered to give one of my readers a new mop also!

Oh I would love to try one of these. Right now I use a swiffer for our hardwood and a good old fashioned mop for the tile floors!
Holly Mears says
I use Orange Glo and a microfiber mop that I hate on the hardwood and then just use a swiffer in the bathroom. I could use a new mop!!

I currently used an old fashion mop, but is way to bulky the threats falls everywhere and I must used at least to buckets of water to leave them very clean. It will be nice to give it a try!! 😛 (congrats for all you do for us above all your mommy duties you are amazing!!
Amanda D says
This sounds great!! I use a Clorox Ready Mop and I’m not crazy about it. It’s a little flimsy and being 38 weeks pregnant and ready to pop, bending and pushing really hard to scrub is not ideal!
Amanda D says
Following you on Facebook 🙂
Debbie Harris says
I use a rag and my hands and knees on my tile floors. It just doesn’t seem they get clean enough otherwise.
Darby says
I use a commercial dust mop attachment and mop attachment for the hardwoods. Only tile in bathrooms upstairs and for that I vacuum and use the swiffer wet jet.
Shelley says
I use a shark steam mop. I would like to try this out in my sunrooms. Thanks
Sarah says
I would love to try one…the best thing I’ve found is doing it by hand. :S
Robyn M says
I have a swiffer too, but i hate buying the pads! PS your links in this post are not working…i get “You 404’d it. Gnarly, dude”
Robyn M says

I use an orange glo mop type thing similar to a swiffer. I also use a sponge mop sometimes. Have been wanting to try this new one since you can put your own cleaner in it!
Ginger B says
Im a facebook fan also 🙂

People clean their floors?! Unheard of in this house 🙂
But maybe a shiny new mop would incite me to do so!
Mandi says
I’ve been eyeing one of those! I have a sponge mop that they’ve stopped making replacement sponges for…. so I’ve been having to rig a different brand’s sponge to fit it. It’s terrrible, but who wants to spend money on a new mop?
Laura G says
I use a swiffer, but hate to spend on the pads.
Teresa says
This is embarrassing but I currently do not own a mop. I haven’t found a good deal on one to replace the old one I had to throw out. Right now I use a cleaning rag and soapy bucket. 🙂
Janet O. says
I use Bruce w/a swiffer type mop.
Laura K says
I, too, admit I just get down on my hands and knees with a cloth these days. I can’t find a mop that wasn’t designed for someone twice my height. 🙂
robyn says
i use a swiffer, which isn’t doing it for me. the cloths are expensive and i would like to use my own cleaner.
Susan says
Currently, I use a sponge mop but I can’t ever get it to squeeze out enough of the water so I have to hand squeeze it. Yuck!
Sonya says
I use Murphy’s Oil Soap for my hardwoods and Orange Glo inbetween. I use a micro fiber thingy that is falling apart, so could use a new mop 🙂
Lisa says
I use swiffer wipes in my bathroom on my hands and knees (it takes two to get through it). I use a regular mop in my kitchen and laundry room because, again, the swiffer wipes don’t last long enough. There were coupons for another mop like this, but I have yet to see them. This is the type of mop I absolutely want!! Thanks.

I use a mop and spray… it is a PAIN in the butt, but honestly with 5 little ones under 8, so much better then carpet. This mop looks great though!
Anna McMullen says
I just use a basic mop that squeezes out and I use water and vinegar. I have ceramic tile and hate to see streaks.
I would love to try this mop!

I usually just sweep up the dust, crumbs, and dog hair, and then spot mop the really dirty areas in the kitchen. I have to admit that I only full-on mop about twice a year.
Jenny Leigh says
I would LOVE to try one of these. I currently use a Swiffer Wet Jet on the hardwood floors and a string mop on the tile.
Eileen says
We have wood laminate floors in our house. I use a microfiber mop from QVC with pads that go in the washing machine. To clean, I mix up a spray of water, vinegar, lemon verbena essential oil and polysorbate 20 (an emulsifier). Start with a wet mop pad and spray as you go. Love it – but need a new mop because I’ve about worn this one out!
Anu says
I use the old fashioned mop. Would love to try this one.
Katie G says
I use a swiffer wet jet on my hard wood and a wondermop on my tile.
Melissa B. says
I use a swiffer wet on our laminate floors, and something similar looking to this Libman mop on our hardwood floors (water only). Thanks!

OY! I just got the swiffer Sweeper Vac and yea, NO GOOD on my laminate floors… would love to try a mop that really cleaned it well… I use Mop and Glo with a regular rag mop most of the time when I can commit to wet floors for a min AKA when kids are asleep….
Melanie says
I also follow you on Facebook 🙂 yea!

I so could use a new mop!~
beulahmom says
I have new hardwood floors and don’t know what to use! Mainly I have just been using a swiffer to dust the floor and then sweep up the debris. Then I just dampen one and try to clean it a little. I could definitely use some help!!
Katie says
I just bought the swiffer with the wet pad, and I am not real happy with it…it does the job, but feels almost like I am going to snap it in half if I scrub too hard! Would love to try something different! 🙂

I have a Haan steam cleaner, but on my peel n’ stick tile floors, it actually pulls up some of the tiles! Would love to try something new!
Lauren says
I’m STILL not happy with what I’ve found to clean my laminate floors!! Right now, I use a floppy dry mop, and a swiffer with a squirt bottle when I need to clean a sticky mess. My 6 month old needs cleaner floors, though! 🙂

I have tried so many things over the years – Swiffer, Sponge mop, Old fashion mop and current;y use a combination of the sponge mop and/or the old fashion mop and would love to try the new Libman with the washable cover and using my own cleaner. This sounds like just what I have been looking for.
Shawn'l says
I follow you on Facebook as well!

I use an old fashioned sponge and pail on my hands and knees but would love to try something easier!! My knees hurt!!
LYNNE says
I have laminate wood floors everywhere in my house and right now I vacuum and just spot clean as needed. But I must admit that “as needed” is probably way more than I really do! I saw these mops on TV and liked them.
Cori says
Right now I use a yellow and green sponge to wash my floor because it’s so small and my mop has a hard time getting any corners at all. I would love to try a new mop that might work better!
Kristen Flocco says
I have taken a swiffer mop, attached velcro to the top of it. Then I have takem microfiber cloths, cut them in half and then attach to the swiffer. It isnt the best way to clean my laminate floors (80% of my house is laminate flooring). Then I use a spray bottle with a tiny bit of Simple Green to clean up the icky sticky floors. Unfortunately (greatfully?) that creation has broken. My husband just picked up a Brawney microfiber mop with a removable cloth, but I think it is supposed to be used dry. I still use the spray bottle but have noticed that the mop head is so large only the very center picks up the dirt/ ick. I would LOVE a new microfiber mop with the cleaner bottle attached!!

My husband cleans our floor with elbow grease and a towel. We really need to get a good mop!
Jennifer G. says
Right now I am using a $5 squeegy type mop from Walmart. It does the job but it doesn’t have much of a life span….well not in our house anyway!
Veronica says
I use the swiffer wet jet and i hate it. I had a Scooba, but the battery died and it is $70 for a new battery. It was great at first, but you have to keep it plugged in 24/7 or the battery starts to slowly die and does not finish the floor. Haha, lately i just use a housekeeper 😉
Karen Hountz says
I use a sponge mop, but would love another option.
Sara says
I use a spray bottle with a mixture of vinegar and water then use my Swiffer Wetjet to mop it up. I’d love this mop so I could just fill it’s sprayer and then have the washable pads!
Debko says
I use a swiffer wet jet. Instead of buying the pads I cut an old wash cloth in half. That sticks to the velcro. I mop the floor, then toss the wash cloth in the washer. Hate it, but hey, it’s cheap 🙂
April says
I go back and forth between a Swifter wetjet and a regular ol’ mop. I like the convenience of the Swifter, but don’t like having to buy the pads and cleaner – so this sounds like a great product.
AngieJ says
I use mop and bucket. I hate it!

Amy Lamb says
Right now, I just sweep my floor often, and quite a bit LESS often, I get down on my hands and knees, and use an old fashioned method of soap and water and an old wash cloth. Lame, but that’s how my Dad taught me it has to really be clean. 😉
Denise says
Just a mop, some hot water, and some type of floor cleaner such as Pledge multi-surface!
Katherine R says
We use swifter. I can’t say I love it.
Sana says
Right now i am five months preggo and sit on my butt to clean the floors with a bucket and wash cloth…could really use something that i don’t have to bend at all and something that is not flimsy ….could really use this mop
Leshellz says
Well I have bought 3 mops and gave up because they were not eco friendly or reusable or just suck overall. So I use Myers cleaner in a spray bottle and old fashion way with a rag. Or sometimes I use a big towel. I been wanting to invest in a steam mop or a spray mop for long time and Id LOVE to try this Freedom Mop everyone talks so much about! I need something that uses my eco friendly cleaner, and that can be washed all the time. I have pets and infant and toddler running around. I enjoy your site and thanks for reading why id like to try the mop u so fell in love with!
Allison says
I usually use a paper towel. My kitchen floor is fairly small, but I could use a mop.
Stacie says
I use a Swiffer mop with an old rag. I fill the cleaner bottle with vinegar and water. It works OK.
Kerrie G says
I use a sponge mop I bought at the $ store and it’s not getting the job done! That for the chance to win a great mop 🙂

I usually use a rag with fabulouso. Its the only way I can really get my travertine clean.
Deb says
Wow, this would be awesome. Right now we use a vacuum on floor setting and a rag on our hands and knees for anything else. We have hardwood floors, tile, or vinyl in 75% of the house, too.
Hehe – sounds like we’re not alone. Thanks for the give-away. 🙂
Julie Campbell says
I would LOVE a new mop. We have tile/painted wood floors over 90 percent of our house & my little foam mop has seen better days. 🙂
Heather says
Right now I use a mop by Don Aslett. Then I either use Soap & Water or Vinegar & Water.
Barbara P says
Mop…you mean I have time to mop?
We use a sponge type mom when we get around to it! 🙂
Jena says
I hate the smell of my swiffer wetjet spray that I almost never use it. Maybe this one will be better?
Jennifer C says
I currently use a Hahn steam mop which I like, but you do have to plug it in and it’s not really convenient for quick clean ups.
Jill says
I use an old fashioned mop and bucket. And the hard part is that my whole house except the bedrooms, is tile. That is a lot to mop.
