This was my grocery trip the other night, I bought a lot of cereal as it is priced so good and we were really low. I can’t even tell you how long it took to check out. I thought I was going to strangle someone. Having only self check out’s open at 10:00pm makes me crazy! Anyway, it probably evened out with the fact that I was by myself and didn’t have any kids with me! 🙂
My store had a lot of good clearance, you can see my $.79 Cover Girl Mascara finds over HERE. They also had all the Horizon Organic milk marked at $.25 ( they are normally $1) my kids love them and I don’t buy them often. Priced at $.25 that is basically the same price as Capri Suns so I grabbed 4 cases. There was still a lot more if anyone needs any.
My Kroger had a stand with these cereal bowls. You get the bowl free when you buy 2 boxes of Kelloggs cereal. The weird part is they don’t tell you which cereal, but I bought the cereal on Mega Event and I got 4 bowls free.
There is STILL clearance Holiday cookie dough. They are priced at 2/$.99!
Finally, remember the FREE coupon for the Good n Natural bars from last week in the paper? Mine had them today and I was able to pick up 7 for free!

I live in Beaumont and my Kroger has had the 3 pks of Horizon Organic Milk on closeout for $1.85 so I have been stocking up.

Where are you in Houston? I could use some help. We just moved here from TN a few months ago and I just shop wherever Im closest. 🙁 I used to coupon alot but fell out of the swing. Cheap cereal and catalinas to help pay for our meat addiction would be AWESOME! BTW I made the cinnamon rolls…they were great! Even sent them to the girls school!
The Gillette fusion shave gels are 1.99 after the buy 5 mega event and i used 2x 1.00 off q combined with 2x BOGO Gillette shave prep q–that got me 4 shave gels for 1.98 and then i just purchased another 5th one at 1.99 to get me to 5 items but i bought a ladies one so my wife would not be left out ..satin care I think
I wish I had a Kroger near me 🙁 I have Horizon milk Q that were in the lunchboxes at the beginning of the school year. It would have been nice to finally be able to use them

Just got back from the Kroger on gosling and I had a horrible experience. First of all, the cashier did not scan my card, and I did not notice until I checked my receipt. That is when I noticed I paid $14+ (said so at bottom of my receipt) more than I should have. (I did return to the store, and customer service desk agent addressed this, but it still took time and a 2nd trip) Even after this, the math still seemed off. I bought 4 Pillsbury holiday cookies that were on sale 2/ 99c. I ended up paying $4.29 for each of them. 4.29 x 4= $17.16. Yet I only received $14 as a refund. See my issue? Secondly, I bough Organic Horizon milk which was on sale for .25c each. Even though the cashier had scanned 7 other milks before, and even though they had the manager special .25c label on it, the cashier still charged me full price. But the thing that aggravates me the most, is that I handed her 7 coupons total and the cashier only scanned 4 on my receipt. I know exactly what she did not scan; it was my free product coupons. 2 for good and natural bars and 1 for cat food that would have totaled $5 off my bill. How upsetting. Never using that cashier again 🙁

Yup! I got tired of trying to argue any further about how off their math was and how they still owed me money, I’m really not a confrontation person. But I walked in really excited to stock up on a few things and really save, and after it was all said and done I left really upset and confused.
Went to Indian Springs kroger-woodlands parkway. I got clearance ribs my hubby made had for dinner and oh so good. I always get the clearance flowers-on the side of the flowers (not with the others). And the cookie dough that I loaded on to my kroger card. And used the 2x$1 I won on the contest they were having. Oh and they had chip kit for $1 you put them in the oven. We never leave kroger or randalls without checking out the clearance section usually in the back or on the side 🙂
