I picked up some burners and candles the other night at Wal-Mart. They didn’t want to clearance the items, but since they were in the Christmas clearance section, I got them all for 75% off. After coupons, I had $1.05 overage. Whoo hoo!!
Kroger cashiers are not allowed to take coupons on the clearance items at all stores near me. I’ve heard from several clerks and manager that some have been fired for doing it.
That seems a little extreme! They must have had a problem with cashiers taking coupons from friends that were not legit.
Just curious if anyone else’s Kroger does not accept coupons on marked down items? Here in Dallas FTW they will not – they have signs up at all the registers that you cannot use coupons on markdown items, which is such a bummer!
That is so sad! I am sorry it is that way! Unless there is a line marked through the bar code, they will take them at all the stores in my area.
I don’t believe you can use the $1.00/2 carpet and room odor eliminator. I checked Glade’s website and that is for a different product. I did find a coupon in the 12/2 smart source that is $.55 off 1 spray, which would give you a better deal.
