Just as angelic as she looks, this girl could easily raise a Village by herself, and all the children would grow up to be President.

I hope the points accrue at a quicker rate. Their last rewards program they tried in our KC area, you received a $5 only after 2,000 pts. Sad their ‘new & improved program’ they added 3,000 more points to get the $5. My overall opinion anyway is that it sucked. I would much rather receive register rewards immediately at the register.
I’ve had the card for four days, and am already at 7ooo points. It isn’t hard.
So will you no longer receive register rewards?
No, I guess you will still get them from what I hear?
The manager at my Wags told me yesterday that starting on the 16th there will be NO MORE RR. The RR that we already have can still be used after the 16th as long as they are not expired.
Your poor manager is in for a surprise! There are RR deals in the ads on the 16th and the 23rd!!
So, can we buy multiples of one item in the same transaction and get the reward points for every one item? Or do we need to break up our transactions like before with RR?
No I think it is going to limit you on the number that you can buy.
Oh boy….that’s really going to be a bummer! We live in a small town and that was one of my main places to score deals 🙁
I Know 🙁 We need to see how it plays out. I think after it starts we will all get the hang of it and figure it out!
I signed up online. How do I get a card? I’d rather have a card than have to give them my phone number each time.
I think they are mailing them
I asked why they were going to this plan. The response was that people return items that have RR and don’t return the RR. This is costing Walgreens a lot of money. I have always turned mine in . So if you are out there and didn’t shame on you.I thnk the RR are going to be phased out just not immediately.
I was told by an employee of Walgreens that if you go in the store to sign up on the 16th they give you some points. She did not say how many. Also how many points per $1 or does it depend on what you buy?
Went into my local Walgreens (fort worth) a week ago and received a balance rewards card immediatly after signing up at the register and already have started collecting points. They’re giving out about 1000 points for prescriptions as well. They even have the items labeled with the amount of rewards points you will earn per purchase but most items you must buy multiples I’ve noticed, the weekly ads also have the points available for each item listed. Is the ft worth Walgreens just ahead of the game or are y’all’s doing the same?
Oops thought the date was in October! I’m sure everyone’s Walgreens have everything set up by now!
