I bought mine in the store. They told me on the phone that you would get it in the mail as well. PLEASE call customer service and ask them where it is!
I called and after 30minutes on hold, they told me that PlaceCash started august 20 online, since I ordered mine during tax-free weekend and online, I didnt qualify for PlaceCash, what a bummer. Im so upset with their customer service.

I called today-TWICE-and got the same response as Evelyn. So I talked to a supervisor who went back to their website from the day I ordered (Aug 18), and he said he found NOTHING about a $40 place cash deal at all, only $20 starting on Aug 20-WHAT?! Did they wipe it from their archives or something? He said he’d “look into it” and that I can “pursue this issue further” if I wanted to, but after 2 hours on the phone today and who knows how many more calls I’d have to make, I think they know they’re safe. He also said that if anyone had a picture of the original offer online, or if you, Tiffany, had taped your phone conversation with the customer rep you talked to that weekend (what? doesn’t everyone do that everytime they make a phone call, just in case….!) then maybe he’d have the proof he needed to get me my $40 credit. Needless to say, you’re getting the short version of my “Children’s Place” saga frustrations, unlike my poor husband when he walked in the door tonight! Cheryl, I am so sorry you are dealing with this. I am sick if anyway this is my fault, but I called both the online AND I called and talked to my store here in The Woodlands. They both said that it was online and inshore. But you are not the only who has said that they didn’t get it. OH and I ALSO talked to an employee at the location the day we were filming all the stuff in the mall for Fox 26! I wonder if they have it on tape….
Now I am wondering how can I get that bad of information from 3 different sources. I think they screwed up and told them it was online and it had not started yet.
Not your fault AT ALL! I debated even venting to you, and only did because I told the CP guy I was going to tattle on him to you! I guess I get caught up in it to the point where it becomes all about the principle and not so much about the money. Now can you see why no one at my house likes to shop with me?
