I did it on cvs on 43rd and shephers and they only give me $4.50. It did read $9.49 but they told me that they have to modified it.
My local CVS has the 23.7 oz. bottles prices at 2/$13. Purchased a total of 4 (2 will be free with the BOGO coupon)
$26 – 18.98 = $7.02 or $1.26 per bottle. When they scanned my coupon I received full value of $9.49 and when I pointed out that it should only be $6.50, the manager told me they could not adjust the price when the coupon scans for that amount.) Was told the coupons usually adjust down by themselves. Which is true because I also picked up some Bayer aspirin and used the $3 off coupon and it scanned at $2.99, the amount listed for the Bayer. So I think I must have gotten extremely lucky today!

I went to another CVS and they did take off 9.00 – 9.49 depending on my transactions. It will very by each cashier.
First store I went to gave me the full amount today on one of my last two coupons so those two were free. The 2nd store only gave me $4.50 but luckily with my $2.00 hair coupon and 30% it still worked out to be free. Yesterday I used 8 on the BOGO deal there from last weeks sale and received the full $9.49 making 20 H&S shampoo and conditioners free. Great couple of days on Head and Shoulders. (smile)

I just bought 2 Head & Shldrs 2/$9 plus one Bubble Gum $1.39(my granddaughter begged for it!). My store scanned cpn and it took off $9.49 so paid only $.99 w/tax. Good deal.
One of the CVS by house took off $4.50 🙁 But got 2 other CVS to try 🙂
I think it just depends on the cashier. I’ve had ones that go by what the register says, others who enter the sales price; just depends.
