Apple Dumplings

2 Granny Smith apples
2 cans crescent rolls
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoons vanilla
cinnamon
1 small can Mountain Dew
Peel and core apples. Cut apples into 8 slices each. Roll each apple slice in a crescent roll. Place in a 9 x 13 buttered pan. Melt butter, then add sugar and barely stir. Add vanilla, stir, and pour over apples. Pour Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve with ice cream, and spoon some of the sweet sauces from the pan over the top.

1/2 cup red bell pepper, chopped
1 garlic clove, pressed
4 oz. (1cup) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp. all-purpose dill mix
1/4 tsp. salt
2 pkgs. (8oz. each) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 egg white, lightly beaten
2 tbls. slivered almonds
Substitute 1 tsp. dried dill weed for The Pampered Chef Pantry All-Purpose Dill Mix, if desired.

I put peanut butter & jelly inside, roll up & bake for breakfast or a snack. My boys love them that way and I think they taste even better after they are cold.

That is a great idea, I will have to try it.
I just made the Pampered CHef Broccoli Braid last week. It is a favorite around my house (even though I never quite got it to look "braided") I eliminated the almonds and add onion and green peppers. It is super good!
I make cream cheese bars. Yummy! Here's the recipe for it.

I make sausage rolls (an aussie recipe) but I usually use phyllo pastry. I might try them with the cresent rolls.
