I hesitate even posting this because I don’t want you to be fustrated if the same deal does not work for you. Last night in two transactions I purchased all this for $5.50.

I made two transactions, this is how it worked out….
20 boxes of General Mills cereal, PRICE MATCHED to Randalls and Kroger for $1.49
~Used 10 $1/2 General Mills coupons from the 8-23 SS.
~ Total price: FREE
8 Packages of Hillshire Farms deli meat. On sale for $2.99.
~I used 8 Target $1/1 Hillshire Farms product HERE
~Used 4 $3/2 Peelies found on the packages in the store.
~ Total Price: $.49 cents a package
4 Bags Chef Micheals Dog Food. Price $4.79
~Used 4 $1.50/1 Target coupon HERE
~Used 4 $3/1 coupon from last weeks SS insert.
~Total price: $.29 cents a bag
** Warning. You might not be able to do this transaction at your store depending on your stores coupon policy! I was stunned to see really how bad Target’s training really is last night. Jentry made two different trips yesterday with two different cashiers at the register with no problem. I went last night and was told that the only place you can check out and price match is at the customer service desk. I was told this by their night manager, this is not true! She just had NO idea how to do it! The customer service desk isn’t prepared to check regular customers out, they have no bags, can’t do produce etc. The lack of consistency with these big stores is unbelievingly frustrating. How they stay in business with the pathetic training they give their employees is amazing!

I worked at target, and hated the way they treated thier employees!
How can you use 20 of the $1/1 target coupons? I was told that only one offer per transaction??
Like I said you might not be able to do it at your store, my store will allow more than one Target coupon at a time. I did 10 at a time without a problem.
I can't stand using coupons at Target. It never goes right and I always get a look like I'm stealing something or doing something wrong. I'm happy somebody is getting a good deal there!
Oh okay got it! I thought you were referring to the price match specifically. I'm off to go give it a go then…..we'll see what happens. Thanks again!
I've done price matches at the register but like others said i have never been able to use 2 coupons for the same item like the peelies off the packages and a coupon.
You should ALWAYS be able to use 1 manufacturers coupon AND 1 Target coupon TOGETHER. They might only let you do it one time per item per transaction, but you can combine them!

What a great deal! I did chef michaels (yes, with 2 coupons) but only bought one bag. I had no idea Target priced matched though. How awesome–I would much rather shop at target. Thanks!!
I used a lot of Target coupons with manufacturers coupons a couple days ago at my local Target and was pleasantly surprised … the cashier never questioned them at all.
