Kroger is no longer doubling or tripling 3 coupons. They will only do 1 of each coupon. Please go HERE and tell them what you think about that.
This is a new policy change since the huge double day they had.

This is what I wrote:
I have left a comment recently about unfair and inconsistent coupon policies and why your corporation doesn't embrace couponing and train your employees and communicate with the public better. I asked for a response and got none… disappointing. Now I understand you have changed your policy to only triple/double one like coupon. I LOVE your stores because I am able to get more for my money with your coupon policy and Kroger brands. I have 5 children a husband and a dog (LARGE FAMILY) and we are in a recession! WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? Now there will be no distinction between you and other grocery stores so you have destroyed my loyalty! As a corporation I thought that was a key element of success to separate yourself somehow from the competition. I hope you will reconsider your coupon policy and save my patronage!
Sincerely,
Susan Wright

Thanks Susan!
I talked to everyone i could last night. They are all clueless. They said it changed after the computers were reset for the super double day. All they kept doing was pointing to the coupon policy taped to the little desk place infront of the credit card machine saying "see it says right here only one double" although the other customers and CASHIERS were saying it has always been three. This was even at my beloved Research Kroger.
They did say they have had a bunch of angry customers, and I read a bunch last night that said EVERY Kroger in Houston has switched to only 1 🙁

I left a messagae. I just went yesterday and it would only do one so I complained and the cashier must have not known the new policy because she fixed it manually for me.

Oh, I SO gave them a piece of my mind. I had not heard about this change until your post. Thank you for giving us the heads up. I literally stated in my email "why would I bother shopping at Kroger if they are going to only double one coupon, when I can shop somewhere like Walmart and get the same quality but for way cheaper prices overall." Bet they won't like that…
We shall see if they reconsider.

I sent them a message with a similar tone to the other messages. I cannot believe that they would do this. I mean their prices are reasonable but the main reason for this is the coupon doubling. I mean its a recession for petes sake!! This is how they reward their customer's loyalty and diligence? This leaves such a bad taste in my mouth.

An update–I was your cashier the other night when we both found about the "new" coupon policy.
I'm not saying 100% that it's fixed, but I had a customer tonight–a regular who's a grocery gamer, and he had two of the French's mustard coupon and they both doubled. He also had a few other duplicate coupons–they also doubled/tripled. One of the customer service managers was standing there with me. He was as surprised as I was that the coupons doubled and said, "maybe it's fixed."
I didn't have time to find out for myself, but I plan on doing it tomorrow. Hopefully all the customer feedback has given management reason to reinstate the "old" coupon policy.
Here's hoping…
