My Target wouldn’t accept the GE Q for a 60 watt, 4-pack – the register wouldn’t take it and the Manager said that it had to be used for the light bulbs on the Q. She also said that they got new registers that won’t allow them to over-ride. Long story short, if the register doesn’t take it, they won’t take it! Wow, another reason to make Q’ing more difficult!!!!
On a bright side, I just left Randall’s and their Hostess Powered Do-nuts are B1G1 at 2.99 minus the .50 Q (it didn’t double for some reason; however, the Manager doubled it for me) = 1.99 for 2 bags (1.00 ea.)…yay me!!!!!!!
That’s unfortunate about the light bulbs. I’ve gone on 2 separate occasions and haven’t had any trouble. The register would beep but when I pointed out there are no specifications on the coupon as to type, size or quantity the cashier was able to override it. So far the Target where I shop doesn’t have registers that require manager approval for coupon override. We’ll see if that changes.

You are the best. I usually save at least fifty percent more or less and in Minnesota that is great. I just went to Target today and saved $50.32 on a $65.61 slip and got a five dollar gift card. My cart was packed. This is such a great feeling you will never know. We used to go to the food shelf and now we are giving to the food shelf twice a month or once a month.

I’m thrilled to say I scored on the lightbulbs- I found special packs of 6 bulbs on clearance from $5.99 to $1.98. There was a huge display of clearance bulbs- I bought eight packs as I’m sharing with my brother and mom. I also bought two bottles of Method kitchen cleaner, and for whatever reason, my total ended up at .10 for everything. Yee-ha!
The Glade at my store was not even close to free- average price $2.50 and up per can. I’m holding on to those q’s hoping for a sale before they expire.
Target is almost always a bust for me, so I was so happy part of this worked:)
