Walgreens is bringing back the MIR deal that they used to have! I am seriously an old timer, because I remember when they stopped doing these and the tears that followed!
“There will NEVER be any good deals at Walgreens again! I will NEVER get anything free at Walgreens after this!!!!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaa!”

Funny, I have gotten a TON of free stuff at Walgreens since then! Now it looks like they are bringing them back and I love this program.
This is how it works:
- When you purchase items that offer the MIR (these deals are good all month long) you will have a big long number on your receipt.
- Come home and enter them into the Walgreens site HERE. Do it right away so you don’t forget!
- Choose to have the rebate added to a Walgreens gift card, this way you get 10% more back making them all money makers!
- Now, you can use this card to “roll” onto other items, and you don’t have to worry about DUMB Register Rewards expiring and not “working” on other items!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Walgreens MIR and might start shopping there again!

Oh my gosh, I LOVED the MIR!!!! The card was soooo much easier to use than the RR’s! I too was sad when they stopped doing it. I quit couponing there for awhile because I didn’t like the change. Glad to hear it’s coming back!
I have a question…does that mean you can only do one (like a limit like in CVS) or can i go to multiple WAGS stores and get one from each? I’m not a shelf clearer or anything, but I do get one from my WAGS on my way every morning. Please go more into detail in this! Thank you!

Nope you dont have to send in anything. ONce you add that number onto the card that is all you do. It loaded to the card
does the MIR have an expiration date like the RRs do? Do you already have to have a gift card that you load the money onto, or do they send you a gift card? how do you get the 10% more? you can’t just roll them right there at the register anymore then, can you?
Yes, i believe you have a certain amount of time to add it to your card. But it is a few weeks. I can’t remember if they will mail you one but I would get one from the store ahead of time in case. you will just need to add the numbers on the back of the card when they ask for it
The 10% will automatically be added on, because they will recognize that you are using a Walgreens card. No you can’t roll them right way, just build them up onyour card and use them the next week

I seldom shop at walgreens because RR make me want to stab my brain. I’ll have to try this out, it definitely does sound easier!

Yes the sale starts tomorrow. it is not on all RR items just the MIR advertised deals

If you go to walgreensrebates.com they have a very FAQ that I found helpful.
This sounds interesting! It might even get me back to shopping at walgreens! Although..I had other problems then just using RR (which is a major reason why I stopped shopping there.) But also, the cashiers didn’t know what they were doing with the coupons as far as marking them down.
