I thought this would be a great chance to pick up some gluten free items for a basket that I am giving a friend.

Where are the products?
Tiffany says
Michelle, what do you mean?
michelle says
I go to the site and register but how do I look at items to buy?
Tiffany says
Click on the logo at the top, it should take you to the main page.

Do you have to refer other people for it to work? I did not put any names down for that part. I got an email welcoming me to program, but no reward 🙁 I followed the link from your post so I didn’t think I had to enter your email for it to work.
Tiffany says
I didn’t think so either. That is the weirdest site ever! I followed a link from a friend, signed up got my $10 in my spam box and checked out. But to get to the referral link it was almost impossible! I will call the company in the morning

Well I referred a friend and it worked for them. They got their $10 email and I got the email for referring them (both emails came right away). I don’t get my $10 for that until they make a purchase though 🙁 They did enter my email address so maybe you have to do that? Let us know what you find out, thanks Tiffany!

Clicked the link, signed up at the vitacost rewards site and never got the coupon. 🙁

I also signed up and did not get the coupon. I online chatted with Kristy just now and she said we should receive and email 24-72 hours after signing up with the $10 code. If you do not get your email within 3 days, call them. HTH

Oh my goodness! That is too long to wait!

Hi everyone – I’m Kathleen from Vitacost. I noticed that the link in this post is using the wrong link for the Refer-A-Friend program. Tiffany, you won’t get credit for any signups, and the folks signing up won’t get a $10 coupon unless the people reading this post know your email address that you’ve used for the program.
You’ll notice that the link you posted has a parameter in it: “EmailID.”
i.e., http://www.vitacostrewards.com//referrals/webReferralUpdate.pg?EmailId=123456&ReferralId=123456
Using this link allows one and only one person to sign up for your program (the person you sent the email to) unless they know your email address and type it in manually. We don’t really have a good way for you to create a link in our Refer-A-Friend program yet (you may have noticed it wasn’t an option when you were in the system creating referrals). We’re working on it, though.
To work around this, you can try using the Facebook wall post link instead, and that way you’ll be able to have multiple people sign up with the link. Here are the steps you need to follow:
Step 1: Log in to your Refer a Friend account
(https://www.vitacost.com/MyAccount/Login.aspx?wlsrc=rsLogin)
Step 2: Click the Facebook button under Option 1: Share with your social network.
Step 3: Click the “Facebook Wall Post” button. (You may be required to log in and authorize the application to make the wall post)
Step 4: Post the link to your facebook wall and then go and copy that link & promote it in your blog. The format for this link is as follows, so just check and make sure it looks the same.
http://www.vitacost.com/Referee?wlsrc=rsReferral&ReferralActionId=12345678 (you will have a different number there).
Unfortunately, we can’t retrieve and credit previously referred customers unless they typed your email address in manually in the prompt box that popped up when they tried to sign up. I’m really sorry about this. We’re working to make the program more user-friendly for both our customers and for our customer service representatives and it just seems we didn’t make it clear enough in the instructions to either party on how to post links to blogs.
