This is the shopping trip that Paul and I did where we price matched the Walgeens ad to Walmart. Why does this help you in your shopping? Because, 1. I would rather go to 1 store and not a bunch of different ones, and 2. Walmart has a LOT more stock than a drug store and I can go in after the first few hours of a sale and have items still be there!

Today, we saved just at $100 by price matching the items above. Our total was only $33 after coupons and price match! In the video below Paul explains how to price match the ad from Walgreens and what you can price match and what you can’t. For example, he shows the Purex sale, the policy says it matches the $4.99 price and not the $2.99 after RR price.

At the 1:30 mark, you state “that is what you can buy it for at walmart.” Are you stating you can buy it for the $4.99 or the $2.99 at Walmart?

It is BEFORE the RR. Clear as mud huh?! Yes we are price matching the before RR price. Although most everything I price match at Walgreens is just a sale they are having, sometimes their sale prices are cheaper than Walmarts, like the items we bought today.

The walmart I have to shop at now (in TN) does like the policy states and doesn’t PM after RR or ECB, however the walmart I shopped at in FL did, I think it just depends on your manager and how much business the store gets. ( just throwing that in there because some stores do allow it so those people don’t think they’re breaking any rules) Great video though, you explained price matching very well and it’s kind of cute when a guy is seen in the makeup isle 😛

I have never price matched before (mainly I am just nervous about getting a bad checker) and have always wondered how that works. No we did not have it with us, which was unusual. The Walmart price match policy says you do NOT have to have the ad, you just tell them the price and they are responsible for having the ad. BUT…. I like to always have my ad with me as many cashier still ask you for the ad. I don’t want to fight with them about it!

I have never price matched before today! I saw a lady in front of me last night and she did it. It looked so easy! I did it today, and it was a breeze!

Is there a limit on how many coupons you can use because I’ve had the cashier tell me before that I couldnt use anymore because I exceeded the limit. I didn’t get to use all of my coupons( which made me pay more for each item). I just want to know for future reference so I can do multiple transactions once I hit the limit. Thanks 🙂
NO! After 40 coupons, they have to call a CSM ( customer service manager) over to just authorize it, not to bug you just to key the register. No bog deal. There is no limit at all. Check the coupon policy and have it with you!

No, just 40 total then they call a CSM. YOu can use 40 of the same if you want though plus more there is no limit.
I have noticed that some coupons are limiting how many you can use per transaction, most are limit 4. Does Walmart just ignore that and let you use as many as you want? Probably a dumb question but since you wrote you can use 40 of the same if you want, I’m curious…thank you!
Ugh! You’re so lucky to have a hubby like Paul. I ask my husband to make a run or go with me, but he rather stay home with the kids instead.
LOL It’s like pulling teeth to get mine to come to the store with me…..AND he expects me to take the 3 kids with me if he stays home….unless they are taking a nap, I can sneak off myself.

If anyone lives near a vons, they have the Nivea lip balms for 10/$10, so they would be free with the $1/1 q and .50 mm with the $3/2 q.

What do you mean whe you say money maker on the cover girl? Does it mean you can get 2 an then use the other money on your whole purcase? I am new at this so not really sure.

I’m curious how you were able to get so many of the Nivea lip products in one shopping trip! The coupon I have from RP states “1 coupon per shopping trip” – does it just depend on who is ringing you up and how well they are checking?
It does, you have to do multiple transactions, or come back a bunch of times. We did both!

The only thing that wasn’t was just the Nivea on 1 transaction. BUT you can price match the Nivea to Randalls and get 3 free each transaction.
Most of the walgreens and cvs adds say with card u get this sale price. Does walmart give you that discount or not?
