How much of a pain is it to price match? do you just go in with the flyers from the other store and they can do it at the til?
How do you price match? do I need to get the ad’s of each place or do I just verbally tell them and they can look it up? sorry for my questions.
To price match, just bring the other store flyers with you and show the item on the flyer to the cashier. They do it right there at the register. It’s easy! You do have to bring in the flyers. They can’t look up another store’s price for you. I usually put the item(s) I’m going to price match together at the beginning or the end of my purchases on the conveyer belt and let the cashier know that I’m going to price match those before he/she starts scanning. Hope this helps!
@ Walmart you don’t need the ad but it’s nice to have. Last week I forgot the ad for Pringles and had no problems. Once I had the ad for the chicken that was on sale & they gave me a hard time but I was getting their store brand compared to the other store’s brand (after getting the mgr I got it). Chicken is chicken 🙂
less hassle if you have the AD,, some of the “old school” cashiers doesnt want to match without although the commercial says different.. usually if its not a huge difference they just do it but say if u have a $5 item and match it to $1 they will ask a CSM because Mgmt keeps up with all price changes and about 2 weeks later they will come back and say,, who approved you to make such a large change,,,so they get a CSM to approve it just to cover their self
