If you are new to CVS, you can read my CVS 101 HERE to help you get started. I also have a little video of how to make a transaction HERE if that would help.
CVS is my favorite place to shop! They have such good deals each week. Like many people before I started couponing I would have never bought anything in a CVS, they were too expensive! Read over my CVS 101 to get started.
Wow, this is a SUPER HOT week, what a great week to start of you are new to CVS!
If you are new or just want a great deal, try this one this week!
First thing to do is make sure you have a CVS card. Then scan it at the red price scanner to see if you get any coupons. This transaction is easy to do and will leave you with $4ECB to use right away or save for next week. Then do the following transaction:
2 Colgate Total Gum Defense (pictured above) Toothbrush $2.79
Use:
2 -$1 off Colgate Total Gum Defense toothpaste (CVS coupon), Reinventing Beauty magazine
2 $.50/1 Colgate toothpaste or toothbrush PRINTABLE
Total: $2.58
Get Back: $4 ECB
** The reinventing Beauty Magazine can be found at your register in your CVS store. It is full of coupons and costs $1.

does the cvs ad for tomorrow start on Saturday? in other words if i go tonight to cvs for the sale that starts tomorrow will the ecb’s print today even though the sales starts tomorrow? thanks,
lisa
Tiffany says
Sales start at different times at different stores. If I go at 10pm mine are usually rolled over.
Becki says
On Saturday from 4pm to closing, you can use either week’s deals at my local store. If the same item is on sale for both weeks, the best offer wins! (ex: I had $2 ECB from razor purch and didn’t get the ECB on receipt. checked next week’s ad and it was BOGO. Got a free razor!)

I am pretty new to couponing and recently got a CVS card. The other day I noticed the cashier ask the person in front of me if they had a CVS card and when the said no they swiped/scanned one they (the cashier) had next to them. I’m wondering if the the cashier is keeping the rewards….
Cassandra says
When I first got my card- the cashier told me they keep a card at the register so that people without the card can still get the product price with card. She gave me the one she had been swiping all day and I have seen them do this several times. The ECB are specific to the card they are swiping.
Tiffany says
Yes and a lot of times they keep ECBs and also get the quarterly rewards. They are not supposed to do that.
Corrin says
Ohhhh Bad CVS bad…lol, that really is not right though.
Leah says
I have a friend that worked as a cashier at CVS and all stores have a store card that we are able to use in case someone does not have a CVS card so that they don’t miss out on the deals. They do not keep the rewards. It’s simply an added bonus to help those that don’t want to sign up for a CVS card. Beside all that, the rewards print on the receipt and I am pretty sure that the customer would have been wondering why the cashier was ripping off part of her receipt…

I saw that you posted at the top of this post that if I were to scan my card tomorrow on the red machine, that 4 ECB would print ? Is this for anyone with a card who scans it ?
Tiffany says
No, you will leave with $4 ECB if you do the transaction that I posted. You never know what coupons the machine will give you.
Norma says
Silly question, but how do I print once I have selected the deal I want? I tried to click on the Print button but it takes me to another page of the same thing.

Does CVS give overage the way Walmart does for instance? Or would they apply the overage if I pick up a filler for instance? I don’t mind picking up a filler, but I just want to be able to use a $1/ 1 Colgate coupon, which would leave me with 21 cent overage. Love the site! Thanks!
Oralia says
The Enfamil Enfagrow coupon for $5, will that apply to any Enfamil?
Tiffany says
No you are right it will not apply
Oralia says
Darn! Thanks for the quick response =>
Corrin says
I can not get to the colgate printable?
Tiffany says
It might be gone
Corrin says
This may be a stupid question but when you show us “(limit one)”, does that mean you will only get the ECB’s one time?
So if I went shopping a day or two ago and got the ECB’s for the Pantene I will NOT get it say tonight when I go?
