These were cleared out at the Tamina Walgreens. Along with several other sale items. 🙁 The clerk said that everything was cleared out right after they opened Sunday morning.
i just read a commernt on nifty thrifty saving’s facebook wall…. someone said that the cashier told her that there was alot of them in the back….as well as several other RR items…BUT the manager had been told to only stock a few of those items a day….
There have been times that I struck up conversations w/cashiers and after awhile asked about some sale items out of stock and they volunteered to get more out of the back for me. I guess since I had picked up other things and meandered around for a while, they thought I was a “real” customer and not there to clean their shelves of sales only. My point – it helps to make friends w cashiers (well, you always get more w honey than vinegar my momma always said).
I totally agree! I always check out at the cosmetic counter and get along great with the two girls that work there. They always tell me about good deals and I give them any extra coupons I don’t use. And, they give me lots of free samples from behind the counter! 🙂
