If you are in the Houston area, and want to donate items to be taken to Joplin MO and surrounding communities you can bring them up and we are personally delivering them over Father’s Day weekend.

If you want to mail items, Paul is working on a post of how and what to pack in the Flat Rate Box from the Postal Service. We also have a church in Springfield MO working with us as a mail point, where we can then sort the items and get them out. This is where we will need YOU if you are in the area!
Here is a printable list with coupons of items that they NEED! If you have the time and some extra coupons I know that people really need the help!

what about gerber baby food? my daughter recently out grew the taste of certain ones and they are just taking up space in my pantry. i wouldn’t mind donating them as well as some of her other unused items.

I have tons of womens clothes, some still with tags, sheets, comforters, household goods. Do I just need to figure out how to get them to the church or is someone picking items up?
Thank you for the info! I have several items to donate, including a bunch of trial sized soaps, shampoos and lotions. I live just outside of Houston. My sister and I would love to get up there to volunteer in any way we can, do you know of any carpools or anyone that would have room for 2 more people?
Are clothes and shoes acceeptable as donations? I have sz 11 shoes and plus size clothes. I know it is hard for larger women to find things that fit. All in brand new or good used condition.

I heard about your awesome project and posted it to my mom’s group down here in Bellaire. I already have LOTS of stuff to bring up to you (maybe an SUV full with my backseats down!) I have your church’s address. Do I need to scheudule a day/time to make the drop-off? I plan to come next week, maybe toward the end of the week to give everyone time to get things to me. Sounds good. I was just thinking that I may have to make two runs because I can’t put the seats down and still have 2 carseats! Would there be someone there on Saturday? Then I can make a smaller run during the day next week with my little ones.
Hi, me & 4 of my friends all from The Woodlands are leaving for Joplin tomorrow to go volunteer Fri- Mon at a local Joplin church. Our friends & families heard we were going & before I knew it I had a huge pile of donations in my driveway. I’ve filled 1 trailer completly full already but still have lots more that won’t fit. Would you be interested? It’s mostly clothes.
We are almost out of room also. We have tons of clothes as well. I am not sure we can take anymore 🙁

I have four boxes of clothes i would like to donate. Would i just send those threw UPS or how would i go about getting those to Joplin?
Yes BUT they are really not needing clothes right now, and it would cost a lot to mail those. I would almost donate them in town.
