Hello Alex, Food Fair in Channelview will double & triple coupons everyday! I think everyone needs to boycott KROGERS!!
I live close to you in Dayton. I had only been couponing a month when Kroger changed their coupon policy, and I’ve been looking for a new store. Walmart in Crosby has been the best! No hassle with coupons, and they price match (even Mega Event pricing) with no issues. No need to Kroger! I used my Nivea body wash coupons at the Baytown Walmart, and the lady acted like I was breaking the law and she was going to lose her job (I get 3 papers so I had 6 coupons). Wouldn’t recommend that store!

Im so upset with Krogers NOW. I dont think I will be back. I loaded coupons on my Kroger’s card last night, had some Catalina’s aslo clipped coupons. Then I went this morning To cash in on some Diapers and Sunny D. After they scanned my Kroger card, They told me I could NOT use ANY of my Catalin’s or clipped coupons, If they were on my card I could not use another like Coupon.
IM DONE WITH KROGERS!!

Wow, that is a new one to me. Do they hate their customers? I don’t understand that at all.
I’ve stopped shopping at Kroger since April and I no longer download coupons to my Randall’s shopper’s card b/c the choice is either e-coupon or paper coupon. Paper is usually higher value.
The cashier must have been confused. If you have a $.50 e-coupon for Dannon yogurt, you cannot use another $.50 paper coupon on the same product. That would be double dipping. The only time you can use 2 coupons on one item is at stores like Target, CVS & Walgreens when you can use the STORE coupon and a paper coupon on the same product. I’m sorry that happened. Did you ask for a manager?
My Krogers told me the same thing. They even used to have a coupon basket by the registers and said they took that away because they only accept the electronic coupons now. I tried to wait around for a manager because they even have coupons on some of the items, for example the in front of the Texas Toast, however I waited for about ten minutes and had to leave. Ever since they stopped the doubling I have been using Wal-mart and HEB.
OK I have been couponing for about a year now and I am still learning the ins and outs. But we recently moved and I have am completley out of the loop right now. So what was the big announcement in March that y’all were talking about?

Kroger is not doubling or tripling anymore in Houston!~
Kroger in my area (Columbia/ SC) is still doubling but they do not stack coupons. Had the same issue as Lara. If I would have known I wouldn’t have loaded my card with any coupons. I won’t load them anymore and just use my clipped coupons!
I really wish that people would stop with the Kroger boycott. It was old yesterday. Seriously, they gave us double and triple coupons for many many years and those of us who coupon often got A LOT of free stuff. Many of us have HUGE stockpiles. No other store gave that to us. Now, just because they stopped doing it because of people that took way too much advantage of it, people are boycotting. You can still get great deals there and PLENTY of free things.
How many like coupons can we use @ kroger in one transaction??? I thought just 1.
I don’t usually load any coupons to my card as the clipped coupons are usually better or I plan on getting more than one of the item. It seems to me as if they are trying to cut “stocking up” by offering the load on card coupons.
The kids crest toothpaste is on sale at my store for $1.00. So if you have any of the $1.00 off coupons from the P&G mailers its free!

I wanted to avoid them so much… I stuck to mega sale items, though, and my bill started at $200. Total was about $50. The teenage bagger boy had an issue with my couponing, but he can shove it. 🙂
Anyone know how many of the same coupons we can use in same transaction @ kroger?
it depends on your store that you shop at…my stores in College Station/Bryan, TX still double and triple and I can only use 3 of each if I want them to double or triple…I can use as many single value coupons as I want. You will probably have to ask your store manager to see what they allow.
Over here in Utah we might see one store double once in a blue moon, but for the majority of us they never do, so you guys are lucky to have stores that do period!!
