Guess where this child’s bed is?
Not where I found him this morning!! Have you ever walked into your child’s room fully expecting to see them asleep in their bed, only they are not there? I HATE that feeling! It makes me sick to my stomach.
I put this little guy in bed and tucked him in last night. Then like every night I checked on him and his siblings a few times before I went to sleep. I also checked the windows and doors a few times as well, and then asked my husband as he was getting in bed if he checked the doors also.
I am weird that way, I think because of hormones 🙂
When I went to get him he was not in bed, so I went looking around the house. I found him curled up in a ball in one of the cubbies in his sisters room! Who knows what time he ended up in there? He hates sleeping alone so he often climbs in bed with one of his sisters and they let him.
Poor guy though, I think he missed the bed!

Just as angelic as she looks, this girl could easily raise a Village by herself, and all the children would grow up to be President.

The resident Labradoodle, Miller got his name because Mom won and got to name the baby! Need something chewed up? He'll take care of it. Especially if it's expensive..

We used to host tea parties with sugar water after hours. Perhaps his sisters were partaking in one of those and he’d been invited.
How precious! I do hate when they do not stay in their bed. But at least he was safe.
I always find my almost 4 year old son and my 2 year old daughter in their big sister’s room. Like you, I put them in their bed and check on them before I go to bed, and a lot of times they are not there in the mornings.
I hate that feeling! My 1 year old son got out of his bed and went under it and fell asleep. When I could’nt find him I was so terrified!
Many years ago, when my step-son was 3 or 4, he and his sister had bunk beds. He always slept on the bottom being the younger of the two. One night, I went to check on him before I went to bed and I couldn’t find him anywhere in the house. I was TERRIFIED! My husband and I finally uncovered him from underneath all of hs stuffed animals on the top bunk. Guess he felt the need to sleep with company 🙂
Just last week, I went to wake up my 9 year old son and discovered he relocated his mattress half way off the bed and into the walkway into his room. He was curled up in a ball on the low end of it against the wall. I have NO IDEA how he managed to actually sleep that way.
When my oldest was a babe, I woke up one day and couldn’t find her ANYWHERE. I got that feeling you’re talking about. I checked doors and windows. Everything was locked. The panic is undescribable anyway. I finally found her curled up in a corner behind a laundry basket. No idea how she got there.
Btw, did I miss something? “because of hormones”? Does that mean the litter is getting bigger?
