
- 4 – 6 slices artisan bread
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/3 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup ham, chopped
- 1/4 cup spinach, chopped
- 2 tbsp onion, diced
- 2 tbsp green bell pepper, diced
- 2 tbsp of unsalted butter, room temperature
In a medium size bowl add softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped ham, chopped spinach, diced onion and green bell pepper. Mix all ingredients until thoroughly combined.

On a slice of thick cut sourdough or bakery loaf bread, spread 1 1/2 tbsp of ham and cream cheese mixture. Butter both sides of the bread generously.

Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place sandwich buttered side down in the hot skillet and cook until golden brown. Using a spatula, pick up the sandwich and add an additional 1 tbsp of butter, flip the sandwich over onto melting butter. Cook until golden brown. Place on a place and serve.
