NCP is back. They are taking applications for a short time. Some of you have had success getting picked and liked the scanner and some of you have not. I have not been picked, BUT was happy to get the $30 cash in the mail for taking a quick survey and applying! If you’re looking for a way to earn a little and get some products for free, this can be a great program.

I got my scanner in the mail last week but I have not opened it yet. I have heard a lot of mixed feelings about being on this panel!

Tiffany,
I applied, was chosen, and stayed on the waiting list for 9 months. We received our scanner when one became available, and I began with the program right away. I must say, however, for someone that coupons (like us), it is not a simple and painless procedure. Each shopping trip requires not only the value of the coupon, but if the product was on sale, if the coupon was doubled, and if it was combined with any offer. In addition, where you received the coupon (ie: home, register, store, etc…). We stayed on the panel for 6 months until it became a real burden. Hope this isn’t a bummer for anyone, but I just know how long I waited for my scanner, and how excited I was to start. It was a big disappointment.

Also, a quick note that for most of the stores (including Kroger), I had to manually enter each item’s price. That can be alot when you are purchasing 100-200 items. You are able to enter quantity if you purchase multiple like items, but this is not an option when you have a coupon for each one. 🙁

Well I learned about this the last time it was posted here & I applied & I was chosen. I was very excited until I received my scanner. It was a huge PIA! I kept forgetting to scan because it was such a hastle entering each price, each copun & any other deals! Finally I just returned it, it just isn’t worth the stress to me!
