My 2 oldest kids have cell phones. They have flip phones that they can use to make a phone call and text. They do not have web, I refuse for a number of reasons to allow them to have web.
We have seen the Walmart T-Mobil Kiosk but for us, unlimited Plans for our wireless is something that teens have to have. There are 2 options you have to choose from. The $29.88 text & talk plan or the $39.88 text, talk & web plan.
You can choose either plan for your first line and either plan for each additional line. You can get Unlimited any way you want it.
When you pick up your starter kit, you will have a one-time $25 purchase that includes your SIM card and Activation Code. Your monthly unlimited plan is billed separately.
Once you get your Starter Kit home, you can use the SIM card and Activation Code to connect your service at home. During this process, you will have the option to choose one of the unlimited plans.
We decided to get him the “nicer” phone because he has been a great kid, and his phone is really on the way out. Hopefully it will last until Christmas!
The phone that we chose to give our son for Christmas is the T-Mobil Concord. It is currently on roll back for $49.88, down from $78.88.
Paul and I did the math and if we all switched over to this same service we will be saving about $100 a month on cell service. We are planning on having Tucker test it out for us (unknowingly!) and see if it is something that we all want to do.
But for sure, we will be saving some money by going this route. #FamilyMobileSaves will save you some money! Check back with m after Christmas as I let you know how this goes!

Just as angelic as she looks, this girl could easily raise a Village by herself, and all the children would grow up to be President.
Self proclaimed, she would be a webkinz dog. Because, "they're cute, and puppies are too. And they're sweet and they always get along with other puppies."

Love Family Mobile! I did have virgin but found the service wasn’t great here in north houston, dropped calls etc. Switched to family mobile and it’s fabulous! (bought an unlocked iphone). Couldn’t be happier, get 4g speed most of the time, my husband just switched from virgin as well. Both og us had verizon before virgin.
I am so happy to hear this!!!!
I switched from ATT to Walmart family mobile about 6 months ago. A couple of comments: their customer service is very hard to get a hold of (but at least I am not switched from person to person as I was with ATT–my biggest complaint was their horrible customer service). The plan once connected has not required customer service, but judging by how hard it was to get a few questions answered by them, I think it is harder to get in touch with someone than one of the large brands. Secondly, we are in Spring. We never had dropped calls or busy signals with AT&T. I regularly have dropped calls or no service now. But still not enough to be more than mildly inconvenient and for the price difference, it is worth it to me. Was able to transfer over my unlocked iphone…a huge plus! One other minor complaint I have though is with the texting. Walmart Family Mobile provides free texting but does not offer what they call “premium” texting…meaning no companies can text with coupon codes. I am a bit irritated about this, but the few times I have been really desperate, I just have them text my husband’s work AT&T phone. For a couponer like yourselves, this is worth noting. Cannot get target texts etc…
So you can use iphone with this plan? We have verizon right now and are tired of paying the outrageous amounts each month.
I believe so. That is what I am asking tomorrow because I am ready to switch!
yes, you can. But it has to be unlocked. AT&T agreed to unlock my iphone before I cancelled service with them. You will have to ask your provider what the terms are for unlocking your phone. According to law, they are supposed to offer it but they do make it difficult.
I think you will find that this is a great plan for the everyone in your family. It is really the most affordable unlimited plan out there. Can’t wait to see your son’s reaction with this great gift. #client
Hope the gift went over well! #client
