Recipe for Greek Salad!
Sunday, I planned on making a salad for dinner. When I started pulling everything out I realized we had actually forgotten all the items from the store for the salad I had planned on making!
Since I don’t shop on Sunday running back to the store was not an option.
I remembered a salad that we had a while ago that was like a pasta salad but without the pasta, and I thought that I had most of the ingredients.
So I “googled and swagbucked” and didn’t come up with anything so I turned it over to all you on facebook!
Thank you for all the suggestions and pointing out that I had all the ingredients for a GREEK SALAD!
So I chopped it all up and added some Feta cheese that I had and Tada!! Salad!
It was awesome! Thank you everyone!
Greek Salad by Mylitter Readers!
3 cucumbers deseeded and cut up
1 package cherry tomatoes quartered
1 thinly sliced red onion
1 can black olives
4 oz. feta cheese crumbled
1 package salami sliced
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
oregano
salt
pepper
Combine all together and refrigerate!

Coupons for the Troops Update!
I just wanted to give you an update on the coupons for the troops.
I had a chance to talk to Jenan who is heading this task up. I was STUNNED to find out all that is involved! I had no idea the amount of work that she is doing for it!
First, she has to separate EVERY single coupon into piles by amount, $.25, $.50 and so on. Then add up all the coupons for a total. She really needs some help! So on the 9th of every month no matter the day of the week, she will be meeting at:

I never recommend credit cards. We only use a debit card or cash and have throughout our marriage, thankfully, or we could have been in serious financial trouble !:)
But, I did actually get one similar to this for my son on his trip this summer. I also thought it might be a good idea for the college kids traveling back to school this fall.
We have run into a few places where we had to have a credit card, renting a car and reserving a hotel room where they wouldn’t take a debit card.

Well I got my coupon in the mail the other day and just look at what they sent me!
I was so surprised to see that the coupon was for a free jumbo pack of diapers! I used the coupon with the CVS huggies deal this week! I am back to gathering up all my codes again.
