I was low on diapers so I drug my husband with me to CVS after we left a party. We looked really hot shopping tonight… the party was an 80’s theme. So we were decked out in 80’s garb. I had on leggings, big hair, big belt, jelly shoes and hoop earrings. It was HOT let me tell ya!
This is what I did…
My card, #1 transaction
31 candy bars on sale for 2 for $1. (used 15 $1/2, this made them all free but 1)
1 Softsoap body wash raincheck from Monday for $4.69 (lost my $1 off coupon, darn)
Used a $4/20 from the Readyfill coupon book I got from the pharmacy at CVS
Paid .73 cents out of pocket and got back $5 ECB for the candy and $4 ecb for the softsoap.
#2 Transaction
2 bags Huggies Diapers on sale for 2/$18 (used 2 $1.50 coupons)
1 Razor on sale for $6.99 (used 1 $3.00 coupon from todays paper)
Used a $4/20 from the Readyfill coupon book I got from the pharmacy at CVS
Used $4 and $5 ecb from 1st transaction
Paid $4.50 out of pocket got back $3 ecb for pampers and $3 for razor.

Ok…I'm envious of your deals! We sooo need a CVS over here so I can shop like you! We pay over $8 for a gallon of milk(gulp)!

You had a VERY good trip to CVS. My children would go crazy if we had 60 candy bars in our house. I am a HUGE fan of CVS shopping, but have kind of slacked off the last few months. Seeing your post makes me want to start up again.

how does the coupon clipping service works?

Trick or treat! LOL One of the houses in my neighborhood gives away full size candy bars for Halloween.

Love your post!!!You inspire the mom and deal monger in me! Naty – – the coupon clipping service has coupons available any time you want them. Search their sites for the brand or type of item. It's really helpful when there is a total money maker or rare deal. (I recently got 40 boxes of pop tarts with coupons from them with a $20 overage only possible because I had so many coupons.)You pay for the "service" rather than the "coupons" because the coupons specifically say that they are not for sale. You can try thecouponclippers.com or others. Be careful: Order asap if you need them for a specific transaction! If the sale is over before your coupons arrive, they are not quite as useful (personal experience.)

Thanks for the post- I'm heading to CVS right now!I make cookies with the candy bars- cut them into 1 inch pieces and roll them up in peanut butter (or chocolate) cookie dough. They're amazing and taste even better knowing they were practically free!(Recipe here- http://tinyurl.com/6hex5l )

lol yeah you should've posted a picture of you and your husband decked out in the 80s gear! that would've been super cute.anyways, i'm a BIG fan of your site. i go to it pretty regularly and would really love it if you left a link on my CVS page so that whenever ppl stop by my page, they will see your link and go to yours too. thats how I found YOUR site! (at centisible sawyer) soo many months ago. seeing your awesome deals all the time made me want to make my own site. =)i get about 60 ppl a day so far, not that much but i think they would learn a lot by going to your site too. i'm still a CVS newbie after all. =)my site is: http://www.frugalshoppingideas.com/practically-free-purchase/my-cvs-trip-89-815/
