It looks like the kids and I will be on T.V. tonight….

Channel 11 KHOU filmed a segment last week that I think will be airing tonight. A friend texted and said, “umm, I think I just saw your kids on T.V.”

So, it looks like it will be tonight. Hopefully it will be more flattering than the last one for my 12 year old! He was never going to show his face in school after that one. They edited him saying something dorky, and you know how 7th graders are… it was the end of the world as we knew it!

Happy Mother's Day!

I just wanted to wish all you wonderful Mother’s, and soon to be Mother’s, or Mother’s at heart a WONDERFUL Mother’s day! What a blessing our children are!

Because it is Mothers Day, and I have to be a really great Mother and take my kids to the park today, I wanted to share with you my all time favorite post.

Why is this my favorite post? It just pretty much wraps up what almost every day as a Mom is like with kids. You just never know what you are going to get/see!



But really she is quite good, her pictures of people are spot on in their likeness. My husband who is not so interested in art, or the artistic talents of our children has finally taken notice of Avery’s abilities. Especially when she presented me with the card in the first photo, my Mother’s Day card. Then later in the day, she proudly showed me what she was scribbling on the magna doodle.

“What are you teaching our children?” My husband asked.

“What do you mean?” I replied.

“I am a little worried about Avery’s drawings.” He said.

“I don’t know what you are talking about.” I replied giggling, “Why do you have to be so immature, just ask her she will tell you what they are.”

“Avery honey, those are really nice pictures, what are they of?” Paul asked.

Clearly upset that her Dad could not see what she had drawn, she S-L-O-W-L-Y so he could understand, explained what they were….

Wow, wow, I just happened to take a look over at BarriePace.com they are going out of business! They have very high end clothing, that is beautifully made.

Most of their items are already discounted by 50-75% percent. Plus, when you use coupon code FINAL80 at checkout, you’ll get another 80% off the clearance price!

My Mom has found some beautiful dresses that were originally $278, now for only $9.98! AMAZING!! The coupon code worked for me on all the items, even ones in final clearance! (Thanks Crystal!)

Thanks to Sylvia for this follow up email reguarding the OTC Children’s recall.

It looks like you are going to have to fill out a form HERE. They are going to call you to verify the information. If yu have more than 6 products recalled you will need to fill out an additional form. They are offering a “coupon” for another product in the future. So, a free product?? I wonder!

Although it is a hassle, make sure to take the time to get at least a replacement!
