Thanks to Organic Deals for this great deal. This isn’t the thriftyist deal! They are still $.99. But if you remember last summer they were giving out free ones by mail. Well I got mine and fell in LOVE with them! I would easily pay $.99 for one I like them so much!

If you are headed to Rite Aid this week, be sure to get some EOS organic Lip Balm while you are there. They are on sale this week for $2.99 (regular price $3.29), plus they have a rebate for $2.00 (you can do the rebate 4 times), making them just .99 cents.

These are USDA organic lip balms (except for the yellow one) and come in 5 organic varieties (honey dew, summer fruit, raspberry, vanilla bean & mint). They come as pictured or as a stick.

It looks like you are going to have to fill out a form HERE. They are going to call you to verify the information. If yu have more than 6 products recalled you will need to fill out an additional form. They are offering a “coupon” for another product in the future. So, a free product?? I wonder!

Although it is a hassle, make sure to take the time to get at least a replacement!

A quick note about Lowes Coupon Acceptance Policy: According to a very reliable source, Lowes does accept manufacturer coupons, however YMMV. Coupons are apparently not used frequently and the cashiers may not know how to handle them. So I would call ahead and just check!

Stamp Out Hunger! Are you in??

As couponers many times we have more than we need. This week May 2-8th is Stamp Out hunger week. Did you know that if place a bag of non-perishable items by your mail box your letter carrier will pick them up on Saturday May 8th?

I am joining another blogger Kaleye who had an amazing idea to start a community of couponers donating this week to end hunger! You can read about her mission HERE. She created a Facebook Event page where you can check out the other blogs participating in the event.

Take some time today to consider what you want to give. Remember that Saturday, May 8 is Stamp Out Hunger Day. Giving can be as easy as leaving a bag of non-perishable food items by your mailbox.

Like a few other bloggers I would like to issue a challenge:

~Take this week to see what great deals you can score, lets see who can get the “best” deal with $5 or less. Email me ( mylitter@mac.com ) with your pictures and receipts, I will post them and we can vote on who we think got the best deal! The winner will get a Coupon Binder as the prize! DEADLINE IS FRIDAY NIGHT.

~ Take a picture of the items that you are donating and leaving by your mail box on Saturday May 8th, send us the estimated price that you paid for them! Lets show people what a difference couponing can make!
