I ran into my Kroger while the girls were in ballet this morning, I didn’t have a plan or list, I just needed some chips for my son to take to something at school.
I feel like I did a good job (although not healthy food at all!) just wandering around. 
I paid $7.32 for all this after coupons. 

In the store I found tear pads for $.50 off kettle chips, they doubled to $1.00
They also had a tear pad of Buy 2 kettle chips get a free jar of dip! Sweet I needed the chips anyway might as well get free dip!
I had a coupon for a free bag of chocolate chips, mailed to me from Kroger. 
I had $1.00 off Stacy’s
Finally $.35 off the Pringles that tripled to $1.05
** When I checked out I got a catalina for B1G1 free Enfamil Premium Can of formula!!! Holy Cow! Thats about $14 for a free can!

I bolted into Walgreens dragging 2 kids to see if what I could find in 2 min…..
Everything I wanted was gone but I did find the Trident for $.99.
I had 11 coupons for $.75 off from a few weeks ago so I got 11 packs of gum for $3.39.

Then I went home and ate Stacy’s pita chips! Yum!

My target price for cheese is $1 or under for a 8oz package. When I find it at this price I buy as many as I can and freeze it. This week at Target you can get a great deal on Kraft shredded cheese or the blocks. I find that shredded freezes better. Thanks Crystal!

Giveaway Time!

My friend Suzanne E. has an amazing story, her three children have severe food allergies. It took Suzanne and her dedication to her children, to get the Doctors to correctly diagnose her children’s allergies and to get them some help. Imagine making THREE different meals at each meal time, one specifically for each child.
Suzanne had a great idea one day when she was looking at a wedding book. Even if her kids couldn’t have birthday cake, they were sill going to have “cake”! So she created paper cakes. 

“Paper Cake slices that double as a box are perfect for Birthdays, Weddings, Favors, and Crafts especially for those with food allergies. Suzanne gave me a “cake” for my girls for Valentines Day. I saved mine and used it this weekend at my daughters baptism. I filled all the little boxes with stickers, candy, and lip gloss for the girls. They LOVED it!

This picture is after I realized I had not taken a picture and made all the girls put their boxes back! I had them all nicely displayed on a cake plate with ribbon around the entire thing!
The cutest thing is that insides are decorated like real slices of cake!

We have been eating here quite a bit lately, they have kids eat free every night but the weekends and they give ALL my kids a free meal. Can’t beat that!

A busy weekend!

This little girl above had a birthday last month.
She is one of my “middle” children. 
I love this girl.
Her delivery was the most painful of all my children, I think directly after she was born I was actually suffering from shock. See, I wouldn’t listen to anyone and ended up delivering her standing at the foot of the bed. In the process, I separated the cartilage from the bone that is in the front of your pelvis. I didn’t realize it until the next day when I tried to get up. I was so painful I can’t even tell you.
She was my first baby I “bonded” with immediately. It usually takes me a day or so to realize this baby is mine and that it is staying here! 
When I looked at her I was in love instantly! 
She is super smart and the most laid back of all my kids. 
Happy Birthday!
This weekend, she was baptized. 

We baptize when children are 8, we believe they are then able to be accountable and know right from wrong. 
When my kids turn 8 my super talented sister Anna draws them a portrait. You can see Paige’s in the background. It turned out gorgeous! I will have to take pictures off all the ones she has done so you can see them. We had a beautiful day and ate TONS of food! I am still stuffed!
