Are you sure about the 2x fuel points on the gift card? In my king soopers ad, here in Colorado, it said on the coupon that the 2x fuel points is not valid on gift cards.
Right now, the Kroger website is advertising 4X rewards points on purchases of gift cards. I don’t think it has anything to do with the 2X weekend deal.
Be careful purchasing gift cards. If a store claims bankruptcy, oftentimes gift cards become worthless. They are considered as unsecured debt by the bankrupt company. Best Buy has been struggling for some time now. That being said, this is a GREAT deal if you plan on making a purchase at Best Buy soon, but you are taking a chance (maybe not a huge chance, but a chance nonetheless, if you hold onto these gift cards for long.
