Do you like to hit the road in the summer? Road trips are well documented around here and packing for one takes some organization.
And that’s where Kroger is going to come in handy for road trips this summer. If it’s a week’s vacation or a day trip for some fun, the 2x Fuel Points weekends are going to make our dollar stretch farther. Plus filling the bags with snacks and supplies with the Kroger Mega Event Deals just makes for a savvy summer road trip.
Ball games and tournaments happen on the weekends for us and that’s a great time to grab our supplies and take advantage of the 2x rewards. By loading the 2x Fuel Reward coupon, gas will be a little cheaper when we hit the road.
Beginning on May 20, 2013, Kroger shoppers will be able to save up to $1 per gallon at the pump by redeeming up to 1,000 Fuel Points at any Kroger Fuel Center, and at participating stations.
On longer trips, why do we drive?
- 9 plane tickets is expensive
- When we get there, no one has a vehicle that we can rent that will fit all of us. We have to rent 2 and that stinks.
- We get to see the country
- We get to spend more time together
