At Faithful Provisions she spelled out some really useful information about Swagbucks that I am posting here. Now I have been using Swagbucks for about 3 months now, and honestly I just now figured out how to make it work best for me! So, I want to share it with you, because I LOVE my Swagbucks. So far this year I have gotten lots of Amazon and PayPal gift cards. I have used them to purchase a majority of my Christmas presents. I wish I had learned about Swagbucks earlier. The reason I am posting this is to give you a heads up to start saving your bucks and cashing them in every month so that you might have a bunch of gift card next fall.What I learned:
You can not redeem Swagbucks for a gift card and expect to use it immediately. You have to order different gift cards (like Amazon, Starbucks and Sephora) whenever you have enough Swagbucks in your account, and then you have to wait for the gift cards to be deposited into your account. Each gift card has different terms of service on how they distribute the cards/codes. There are limits on how many of each card you can get each month and when they are distributed. For instance, it is good to know that Amazon gift cards post to your account the 16th and 30th of each month. So only twice a month, and they have a limit of 5 gift cards per month. So, what I have learned is that it is best to keep my gift card codes on My Gift Card page until I need them.
