Tax Day 2016 Deals and Freebies

Businesses know how much we hate taxes!  So they try to make things a little less painful by giving us some fun deals on tax day!  Remember this year it’s April 18th- although some locations are doing their deals on the 15th!

I HIGHLY recommend checking at the location you plan to go to- some of these deals will not be nationwide.

This list will be updated daily as more places release their deals!

Bruegger’s Bagels: For another year running, nab 13 bagels and two tubs of cream cheese for just $10.40

Graeter’s Ice Cream– Make a $15 purchase in store from April 15- 18th and receive a Free Pint.  See stores for details.

Great American Cookies: The national gourmet cookie shop is continuing its annual Tax Day freebie tradition by offering a free original chocolate chip cookie to customers who stop by participating stores on Monday, April 18.* No purchase or proof of completed taxes is necessary.

Hard Rock Cafe: Taxpayers can celebrate filing their forms with a song — and a free hamburger.  To get the free burger you’ll have sing that song up on stage.

HydroMassage: Between April 18 and 22, download a coupon and schedule a free massage.

IHOP: Free kids meal with the purchase of any adult entrée from 4-10 PM through May 6.

Kona Ice Trucks: The company’s trucks will be parked at post offices, tax preparation centers and businesses nationwide, handing out free cups of shaved ice and complimentary Hawaiian leis. The message: “no taxation without relaxation this tax season.”  To find out where the Kona Ice trucks will be park, tweet your zip code to the company’s Twitter handle.

Office Depot and Office Max: Free five pounds of bulk bin shredding now through April 23.

Outback Steakhouse: Take 15% off your entire check with a coupon on April 18. Sign up for the restaurant’s email list or download the Outback app to get the Tax Day coupon.

Planet Fitness: Download a coupon from the Planet Fitness site for a free HydroMassage. Must be 18 years or older and have an ID present.

Papa Murphy’s: Get 50% off online orders on Tax Day at participating locations.

Schlotsky’s Tax Day Freebie: FREE small Original Sandwich with purchase of 32oz Fountain Drink and chips (no coupon needed) all day on April 18th.

Sonic Drive In: 1/2 Price Cheeseburgers on Tax Day, 4/18.  Plus the Summer Shakes offer has begun, 1/2 Shakes after 8 pm.  So you could get both offers if you go after 8!

Sonny’s BBQ: Dine in or take out the Sweet & Smokey or House Dry-Rubbed Rib Dinners for 50% off.
