This past week we made natural bug spray with essential oils. The rain has stopped, and now the bugs are out bad in Texas. I have one poor little guy who seems to be a magnet for bug bites.
We have started using Bite Buster almost daily on him when he goes outside. It has been working and also helping to relieve the bite should he get one.
Bite Buster is part of the Kids Collection of essential oils at Young Living and can actually be really hard to get as they are often out of stock.
We wanted to make some spray for the rest of the family, and used a tried and true easy homemade spray with basic essential oils that come in the Premium Starter kit that most people usually have.
:: RECIPE ::
Mix in a spray bottle (I get mine from the $1 section at Target)
10 Drops Purification
10 Drops Thieves
5 Drops Peppermint
4oz. distilled water
4oz. witch hazel
How cute is this little boy (in the video below)?! He helped me make a few bottles for the other kids and we put them in each car. This is a great and easy activity to have your kids help you with, it is also a safe, natural bug spray that WORKS!
You can get all these essential oils in the Premium Starter Kit, which is posted HERE with this months freebies!
