I’ve seen some pretty nifty wrapping paper storage ideas in my day – but this is one I’d NEVER seen before and I wanted to share it with you!

A friend of mine has a closet in her foyer with empty space at the top that was being totally wasted.  She put up a few tension rods across the top of the closet which basically makes a shelf for her gift wrap.  (How cool is that?!)

So now, when she opens the door she can look up and see all the varieties of gift wrap and pull out what she needs, but it’s not falling over or getting in the way anywhere.

Of course, not everyone has wasted space at the tops of their closets.  Some of mine have shelves built in so there’s nowhere to try this trick.  If that’s the case – I think these are also really clever ways to store all your gift wrap goodies so they’re ready and waiting!
