Last week was a little wonky with the kids being out of school on Monday and so I didn’t get to make my weekly menu plan. Which I can tell you messed up my entire week! After getting in the habit of doing it, to not get it done one week messes me up!
Here are some free printables if you need them:
Shopping List – Feel free to print this off and keep it on the fridge to jot down those items that you need to pick up from the store!
Favorite Recipes – This form will help you make a list of the top recipes that you make for your family.
Freezer Inventory – Take stock of what you have already so that you don’t overbuy. But also so that you know what you are looking for.
Pantry Inventory – Keep track of what you have on hand. Then make a plan on what you are using a lot of and stock up on that.
Monthly Menu Planner – By planning a monthly menu you can better follow the sales and know what you need to buy.
MONDAY – Seafood Ceviche – I have never had this but I am going to give it a try! I am already back from the store and grabbed some Tilapia and so I will let you know what everyone thinks. Since it has to sit overnight, I am going to have some for lunch tomorrow and some with dinner.
TUESDAY – Spaghetti – Spaghetti sauce and pasta are really cheap at Target this week and so just add a little ground beef or turkey, a salad, and bread and you are set! See the Target deal HERE.
WEDNESDAY – Chicken Milano – This looks super easy and really good!
THURSDAY – Cheeseburger Quesadillas – This is one I have wanted to try for a long time and I always have all the ingredients on hand. Plus it also looks super quick to make!
FRIDAY – Homemade Pizza – Traditionally we have this for dinner on Friday’s but it has been a while and so I am bringing it back!

Just curious as to how much you fix. Like how many Cheeseburger Quesadillas would your family need for supper? That seems like a lot of work for a large family as I know we’d never be leaving the stove if I fed those to mine. I always enjoy seeing what other large families eat, so thanks for sharing.

we love ceviche at our house. I make it w out of lots of different fish. The best I ever had was lobester ceviche. I love lots of lime juice and red onion and avocado. Then eat w corn chips. Can’t make enough.

I don’t have a large family but I have made these before only simpler. I cook up the ground turkey in the morning with seasoning and Worchestire and drain fat. When I get home from work I am ready to assemble. I microwave the meat so it is hot, warm my tortilla in the pan, place one slice of american cheese on top, spoon on some meat, another slice of cheese (we like cheese!) and the top tortilla. I use olive oil in my Pampered Chef mister. We each can eat one whole one and usually have fries and a salad. Once the pan is hot, it actully goes pretty quick. I usually let everyone add what they like – ketchup, mustard, pickle, etc. My 4 year old usually just dips hers in ketchup.

Thanks for sharing that. I think we’d need to make about 50 of these at least. They look awesome!
