** For our Valentines dinner, my husband has always made the kids a fancy dinner. He decorates the kitchen, lights candles and lets them drink sparkling cider out of fancy glasses. They LOVE it!
We had our traditional Valentines Day dinner last night as Paul and I have plans tonight, by ourselves, no children. What will we have to talk about?? I should take some of those dating cards with me… you know that ones you look at when there is silence to start a conversation 🙂 Just kidding, honey!

This is Paul’s night, he does it all. He was thrilled about me taking pictures, I can tell you that 🙂
He decorated with streamers, candles and fake rose petals.

Part comedian, part Dad, part athlete. He will boss around your children while they play ball.
Just as angelic as she looks, this girl could easily raise a Village by herself, and all the children would grow up to be President.
Self proclaimed, she would be a webkinz dog. Because, "they're cute, and puppies are too. And they're sweet and they always get along with other puppies."
This mini-Martha Stewart can handle ANY craft you send her way. She isn't all bows and rainbows, she's got karate kid moves!
Not "Pick-Me-Up" like caffeine, she wants you to pick her up! AND NOW!
Anything that can be destroyed WILL be destroyed!
Practically Perfect in Every Way for now! Nicknamed "The Panda" she is rolly polly and lives by the motto, "the little one, is KING!"
The resident Labradoodle, Miller got his name because Mom won and got to name the baby! Need something chewed up? He'll take care of it. Especially if it's expensive..
yummy!
That looks awesome! What a special tradition guys!
Everything looks good! I've never tried lobster, my sister said it's delicious though. My tifani and I got our valentines last night. My husband took my niece(we took care of her for a few years, so she's like our daughter) fishing. She made it very clear that it was just her and his day. I didn't want go fishing anywayz!! Looks like you had a wonderful evening with your family, and I hope you have a wonderful evening tonight with your wonderful husband!!hugz,Mo
I hate to one up ya' BUT my Valentine's Day was better than yours. I was up with two sick kids into the wee hours of the morning, spent the morning with a delirious 4 year old, a constipated 12 year old, and phlegmy 9 year old.Dinner consisted of Tylenol, Ibuprophen, and easy chicken salad.Very romantic. I win.
That’s awesome! The next time you schedule a coupon workshop, he should schedule a “Thoughtful Husband” workshop! I’d sure sign my guy up! LOL!
he is pretty thoughtful that way, even if it is once a year:) The kids LOVE it, they think it is sooooo fun! he eats it up too!
How sweet and romantic, even though you have the whole family there!
What a great husband and father!
Thats awesome, does he give lessons? lol
Good idea for a family tradition, I may have to take his lead and follow suit when we have kids.
