This is the magical time of year that you can find coupon binders for a good price. Walmart currently has the Case It double rings for $14.97. Any other time of the year and these bad boys are $25 on Amazon if you can find them!
If you are looking to get a binder, get one now. If you want to live on the edge, you can wait a few weeks and see if you can pick one up on clearance or marked down after school has started.
You can watch a video HERE of how I do my binder.
This is how I organize my binder:
These are the categories that I have in my binder.
First section:
Second Section:
Places to buy supplies. I would estimate it to cost about $40 to put together a good binder.
During the back to school sales try Target, Walmart, Walgreens and the Office Supply Stores.
I get mine at Walmart, they are about 35 for $5.98. They are located in the front of the store by the baseball and Pokemon cards. Target has a bigger pack for about $15 but they are always sold out. I have heard that people get them at the Dollar Store but I have looked for a year and have never seen them.
Again, usually Walmart. Just make sure you donβt use the paper pages, they will tear in no time. Get the plastic pages. I used a label maker to label mine.
If you would like FREE binder divider pages, you can go HERE and get some I made. The file is very big and will take a minute to download, but they are really cute!

I have purchased the baseball card holders at our Dollar General in PA. They are thinner and cheaply made…as you’d expect. I don’t like to fight while trying to slip coupons in so I stick with the better quality ones. ( the store I bought them at closed.) I promise if I find more I’ll sending some to try. π

The only place that has baseball card dividers in my area is Staples…5 of them for $4.88! But I found my binder on clearance at Walmart for $1.50. π

My Wal-Mart still has tons of these and school has already started back here, so I’m going to live on the edge and see if I can get one on clearance. π

Couldn’t find the coupon binder. Does it actually say coupon binder on the label. I ended up buying a binder for baseball cards cause no one in the store knew what I was talking about at the Walmart by Almeda Mall. Anyone in the Southeast Houston area know where these binders are at Walmart?
Tiffany says
No, it is a regular school binder, I just happen to use them as a coupon binder!

I got my binder card insert pages from Amazon! I got a box of 100 for around $13!! Plus they were eligible for the free saver shipping if you ordered $25 worth of stuff! Put that with this deal on a binder and you have more room for you coupons! π

Baseball Card pages… I have indeed found mine at a dollar plus style store… these were Upper Deck! I also bought a huge amount at a yard sale… guy was puzzled when I did NOT want the ones with cards! I never counted, but easily there must have been 80 or more and he was like gimmee $3! In “this economy” I also keep an ear out for sports card places going out of business etc. Haven’t had one yet, and probably could make due with what I have forevermore… but I’d like more!

I have bought them off of AMAZON and got like 100 for $15 plus shipping and also off ebay. On ebay I found 100 for 9.99 and then the shipping made it about $14.00

Target sells them(baseball) 100 sheets for $10 in Missouri City/ Sugarland

The pages my Walmart sells suck. They are thin & tear easily. I got one today, but the double is not for me :-). I will have 2 now….I’ve outgrown my 4″ Case It. I like having the built in accordion files, so that’s what I picked up for $12. Target definitely has better pages by Ultra.

I ordered my binder & plastic coupon holders off of Amazon. I didn’t buy the 9 pocket baseball card holders, I bought a pack of 100 8-pocket card holders. I find they are a little bigger than the 9 pocket baseball card holders. The extra room is very nice. I also ordered 4 page pockets (used for collectible money/bills)… which are very roomy for internet printable coupons and larger size coupons. I got about 25 of those for my binder. I probably paid more than getting it during the back-to-school sales, BUT I am very happy with the quality of the plastic holders and binder. I’ve also more than made my money back thanks to all the deals you help me score!! π

I’m going to get a binder today, but I don’t get where you get enough coupons to fill the binders. I’m on every site and the printed ones my stores won’t regularly accept but it’s hard to get the paper inserts unless I buy a stack of papers at $ 2 a pop here in winnipeg…

I bought one last month used it 1 week and it started falling apart..Make sure you keep your reciept!!

I am going to check out my walmart for the double ring binder, our school hasn’t started yet so there should be plenty. Just a tip on waiting for clearance on binders and other seasonal items. Typically stores will pack unsold seasonal items up and ship back to the warehouse, sometimes they will clearance them but if there is a huge amount left I have found that they don’t clearance them. I know 2 months ago at my Walmart they only had about 4 binders in stock. I really hate the remodels they did and made all the departments smaller. I read that they were going to re-introduce over 8000 items….I haven’t seen them back in my stores as yet!!
Kristin says
Oh! Dang it π I just bought my new binder 2 weeks ago on amazon…. Oh well. I love it. I’m going to head over to amazon to check out the baseball card holders now. I can’t seem to get enough
angie says
Great info, thanks! Regarding the first section – what type of items would typically fall under “non-food”? Would these be items that do not fall into any of your other categories like ziploc bags, plastic wrap, foil, etc. – or do those go into your second section’s “paper” category?
Tiffany says
I put those in Paper. But that is just me!

Which Wal-Mart did you go to, to find that deal? I stopped by Wal-Mart on Sawdust, and could not find any Case-it binders at all.

I bought my binder at Manning’s a Office supply store in beaumont, tx.
I paid 20.00 for it , its a 3 inch binder its also a Case it it has the slots in the front. It is packed full at one time i estimated 5,000 coupons but, thats if i only had one of each. most coupons i have 10 or more. I think that i have been successful so far but, i can tell you that my arms get a good workout.
